The SteemIT Rap Challenge is a weekly Hip-Hop competition for SBD. We launched tihs initiative to help grow the Hip-Hop community here on SteemIT. There are tons of rappers here and there wasn't a specific contest that gave these MC's a chance to compete against one another. Battling is one of the foundations of Hip-Hop culture so it is only right to have a Hip-Hop battle contest right here on our favorite social media platform.

Recently I have been thinking of different ways to help propel the Rap Challenge, and continue to push it in the direction of growth. A couple of week ago I decided to make a Discord channel for the Rap Challenge, but I didn't know which direction I wanted to take it. I knew that everyonoe who is part of this challenge needed one place to interact with one another too. So over the past couple of weeks I have been putting together some ideas for things we can do on the Discord channel. I want to do giveaways and contests and I have compiled a list of things to expect to happen on the Rap Challenge Discord.

• Off the Dome - Come into this chat and exchange rhymes with other rap challengers
• Heat Makers - Live Beat Battles, if you are a producer show off your production skills and win STEEM!
