YouTuber ● Rapper ● Entrepreneur - And Now I'm On Steemit!
What's up guys!
My name is Luke and I'm 21.
Over the past two years I've moved out of my parents house, snuck into both of the VIP parties at PlayList Live (where I danced like an idiot with Thomas Sanders, Ricky Dillon, the Dollan Twins, Jenna Marbels, Evan Edinger, and tons of other YouTube celebrities), got married, made $5,000 on ebay, graduated from college, moved cross-country to Wyoming (we left our wedding in a moving truck. lol)
...where I currently work as a Visual Effects Artist and Motion Graphics Designer (those are fancy words that mean "video editor"). I wrote four dope rap songs (which I haven't released yet), became pretty much best friends with my favorite musician Lancifer who I'd been fangirling over for the past 5 years (see above pic of us shooting a music video in front of a DeLorean), hired an employee who works remotely for me from the Philippines, binge-watched all of Shark Tank, performed on stage for the first time in front of a bunch of people, made $6,000 by mining/trading cryptocurrency, started an LLC which I'm working on raising $120,000 for now, oh and I adopted two cats.
Was that attention grabbing enough? I figured I should start with something cool and braggie about myself like that.
I got my first camera when I was 11, and as soon as I found what YouTube was, I decided that I'd be a comedy YouTuber. Fast forward 10 years, and now I have 10,000+ subscribers on YouTube, and 250,000+ followers on Instagram.
...well technically I only have 50,000 on my main account @pchanger, but if you count all of the followers on my bot accounts that I use to promote my main account (and thus my YouTube channel) then it's around 250,000. Haha!
Originally when I moved out here, my plan was just to keep growing my YouTube channel until I could live off of it. Then I'd travel the world with my wife Megan.
Unfortunately, YouTube switched up the way their ads work and my channel went from making $50/month to $2/month. It was frustrating, but I'm glad it happened. It made me realize that I shouldn't ever rely on YouTube as a source of income.
I've switched my focus. Now I'm working on building passive income for myself (through drop-shipping, mining cryptocurrency, affiliate links, etc.). Once I've successfully done that, I'll get back to the creative stuff (yes, I know it has been 6 months since I posted anything. YOU DON'T HAVE TO KEEP REMINDING ME GUYS!!!).
Anyway, yeah. That's a pretty good summary of me. I think I can have the whole "passive income" thing locked down in the next few months. I'll pay off my credit cards, and then I'll head off to have tons of new adventures!
