Hello Steemit, I'm Kati - food & travel photographer, recipe creator and adventurer

Since I joined Steemit only this week, I thought it would be best to introduce myself in my first post.

My name is Kati and I’m a photographer living and working in Dubai, UAE. Born and raised in Germany and following an international school and professional marketing career, it wasn’t until my late 20s that I picked up a camera and started my photography journey.

As a self-taught photographer and content creator, I specialize in food, travel, and lifestyle photography and my work always focuses on seeking magical moments. My photography style exhibits a consistent use of selected colors, a moody atmosphere, natural light and an eye for detail.
I appreciate the slowness of quiet mornings, the raw beauty of gloomy sunlight, the simplicity of natural tones and the perfection of imperfection and asymmetry.

I‘m also the author of the blog [black.white.vivid] (http://blackwhitevivid.com) ., a travel and seasonal food blog for the curious wanderer and foodie with field notes and plant-based recipes from home and away.

On Steemit I want to take readers to unknown places, local eats and my kitchen in Dubai. All my recipes are plant-based and all photos are my own.
