A Quick Introduction.
Hello, Steemit.
I'm entirely new to this platform, and I'm not exactly sure what to expect. The entire prospect of such a site is entirely foreign to me, but I've never been one to shy away from a new experience. My name isn't something that I really like to share around; excuse my poor habit of being a recluse, but I never was one to be an extrovert. Then again, posting to such a, dare I say, forum, is at least a step in the right direction.
I dither around my point.
In my time here, for however long that may be, I'll be posting a variety of things. This designation is a little vague, I know. To be specific, every Monday (and any other day if something particularly catches my interest) I'll be posting a review of a video game. This could be anything, as long as, at some point in my life, I've played it. They'll be some negative reviews, and they'll be some reviews where I take a few paragraphs to tonguebath the figurative testicles of a franchise, or instalment thereof. I have my likes, and I have my particularly potent hatred for some somewhat popular selections. I submit these to you for the community's approval, or potential for mockery.
On occasion, I'll also be posting some fragments, drafts and very occasionally, short stories from my overcrowded brain. I tend to ponder over too much, be that the very point of existence of humanity, and how we have come to be here, or why water is wet. Though, the occasional nugget of inspiration hits me, and I decide to utilise it to write up something. If that happens, I assure you I'll post it here, for your entertainment.
If a particular event happens to be worth talking about, then I may also make a little bit of commentary on that, too.
Though in a previous paragraph I described myself as somewhat of an introvert, and I stand by that, I figure that a small amount of information is worth being revealed.
I play a lot of games, and I have a lot of free time.

First, make sure to follow @bot-helper so you have a better chance at getting some exposure on your content. You can check out what I mean by taking a look at this link. Also consider following @minnowsunite and @minnowsupport
Next, take a look around the Steemit community and check out the chat rooms. You want to start getting known, so take a little time to chat with others and promote your introduction link (in the #postpromotion chatroom)
Finally, check out some of the tags and topics on the right side of the dashboard. Find a topic you are interested/knowledgeable in and start commenting. The more great comments you make, the better chance you have for people to start following you! Feel free to follow me as well (@randomness) so we can go on this journey together!

Why thank you. Your extremely warm and informative welcome is sure to assist me in fitting in a little better around here. It's somewhat comforting to see the community here react in a very accepting manner, especially of the newer people. The communities that I once tended to frequent were, in a word, toxic. The atmosphere was inhospitable for anyone incapable of adapting to a place where anyone knew was figuratively crucified. I just hope to offer the same, warm courtesy that I have been granted.
