A letter to my fellow steemians

journey-752x490.jpg
Dear fellow steemians,

I thought of writing this post in the form of a letter so that i can address each of you amazing people a bit personally.
Since i am posting under this tag you are already aware that i am new but actually i am not, i have been reading on steemit for a month now. The knowledge that each and every post has to offer is amazing and i have also read some of the most beautiful stories and poems on steemit.

I feel that this is a great platform that motivates each and every person who wanted to write but had no motivation before. It gives a massive platform, audience and also rewards instantaneously. After reading so many articles watching videos and gaining lot of knowledge from people I have decided to share my opinions, ideas and feelings as well. I dont have any experience in blogging but i want to learn. I hope that my fellow steemians will always be here to teach, help and support me in my journey.

Regards,
Kunal (@allaround)

Hey @allaround. Welcome and congratulations on making your first post!

Hey @allaround , it is never too late to introduce yourself haha. I was also mostly the silent reader. But after seeing how great this community is, I'm trying to get slowly but steady more involved with this community. I also try to help new users to get used to steemit, since I also had some problems too when I first joined. So enjoy your stay here with us.

@bumshak i think you can empathize with me then :) :D. Looking forward to contribute out here. I hope silent readers like us can also make an impact here :D

Welcome to Steem, @allaround!

I am a bot coded by the SteemPlus team to help you make the best of your experience on the Steem Blockchain!

To see why 2819 Steemians use SteemPlus, install our extension, read the documentation or the latest release : SteemPlus 2.17.4 : Two new features on Busy and bug fixes.

Hello allaround! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

  1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
  2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
  3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
  4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
  5. Have Fun and Enjoy!
