Bernie Rising

Here's some good news for a change: it seems there's no stopping the upward trend Bernie Sanders' campaign has been enjoying since his minor heart attack. Even the mainstream media is slowly waking up to this reality, which is good news but also has a dark side.

Because from now on you can be sure that that the public narrative will shift from simply ignoring him, to actively resisting him. I honestly don't know how effective that will be, and for how long they'll be able to keep up looking for dirty secrets about a man who has no dirty secrets, looking for him flip-flopping on any of his convictions, when he's been steadfast in his fight against all types of establishment, be they Republicans, Democrats, corporations or the media. Mainstream media outlets have been losing credibility for decades now, simply repeating and amplifying the lies they were fed by administration after administration, being complicit in lying the people into illegal and everlasting wars in the Middle East. Anyone who's still buying the government propaganda sold by the likes of CNN, MSNBC or Fox News simply wants to be deceived, or has younger family members who don't do a good enough job of telling them what the world really looks like.

The latest episode in the endless War On Terrorism has again shown us all how the mainstream media eagerly slams the war drum whenever the Idiot In Chief, whoever that may be, threatens with war; all of them, with just a few incidental exceptions, said basically the same thing: while Trump may not have adhered to rules of political etiquette, he essentially did the right thing when he assassinated Iran's top general Soleimani; maybe the timing and the procedures were questionable, but we should all be grateful that Soleimani exists no more, for he was a terrorist, unquestionably a very "bad man." And now that Trump reacts to the Iranian response, which was more than proportional with only a few missiles launched at uninhabited American bases in Iraq, only with further and expanded economic sanctions against the country, the mainstream lap dogs praise him for de-escalating the situation. This is infuriating for any objective observer with half a brain cell; it's CLEARLY Iran that initiated de-escalation here with those feeble missile attacks that were a message CLEARLY aimed at their own population who rightly demanded SOME kind of response to the murder of their general.

There are only two candidates running in the primaries with a credible anti war stance: Tulsi Gabbard and Bernie Sanders. Only one of them has a chance to become the nominee for the next presidential elections; if you want a chance (the Military Industrial Complex may be even harder to overcome than Big Pharma) for a move away from perpetual warfare, there's only one candidate to vote for, and that's Bernie Sanders. Unfortunately the Democrats are as afraid of a Bernie presidency as the corporate establishment that sponsor them, so Obamaworld will make good on their promise to oppose Sanders if there's a chance that he becomes the nominee. It's a sad thing really, that the Democrats have fallen so deep as to be willing to betray their own voter-base just to keep intact the corrupt status quo that has served them so well personally these past decades. Bernie Sanders was the first, and I believe only candidate who called the murder of Soleimani what it is: an unlawful assassination. He's the only one who condemned the action for its own sake, when all other Democrats and mainstream press alike lament about procedures and consequences. No. The act itself was wrong, illegal according to national and international law, and unconstitutional to boot, and a continuation of a decades long attack via economical and military means, often through proxies (like when Iraq fought for us against Iran and we provided Saddam the chemical weapons which he then used against Iran and later his own population). To end this insanity, you know what to do, who to support.
