@canusapatriots spoke with me earlier about possibilities in coordinating our activities, and expanding our community. We touched on a couple of other items, as well.
I'll throw out a rough pattern for those of us to think about, and maybe to chat together about, perhaps on steem.chat or discord, or even on this thread til we get a platform that others may prefer.
Our Purpose, a reminder...
Four things to think about
- Coordination
We are all here voluntarily; I will admit that a hierarchy is both a better method for clarity and organization, but that model has two problems, competition for direction and a weakness as far as decapitation attacks go...even when it's just a life happens attack.
I think the decentralization is a better approach for us in many ways, and not least b/c I think it is a personal mentality for most of us!
I'll give an example from history:
The Comanche did not typically organize their raids with 5 Paragraph Orders and the like. A warrior would announce a raid, and those warriors that wanted to join in, and that trusted his leadership, would follow him on the raid. If the raid was successful, he would have an easier time leading men on the next raid that he called for.
Different bands of Comanche might gather to conduct a raid, but it was under the banner of an individual war chief that the others willingly followed!
And that is the model I think will work best for us, as well. We have our own lives to lead, and can put into this War only what our time and resources allow us to.
Some of us on a voluntary basis might want to set up a hierarchy within themselves; or discuss other methods of organization and leadership. That's fine, too. I do not own this thing of ours.
Even so, a method for communicating and coordination is a good idea. I had a volunteer to set up a Discord for us, and I'll follow up with that. I have also asked @firepower to set us a channel on steem.chat, so there are two platforms we could use.
@canusapatriots also suggested a weekly brainstorming/coordination session, another good idea,
If you have read me for a long time, you'll know that I have a reluctance to use off-Steemit platforms in discussing Steemit business. I'll go with the though that I may have been wrong in this ;>
- Recruitment, both to Steemit and to Information War
@truthforce has volunteered to create a video explaining to people how they could contribute to Information War. I'm looking forward to seeing it...and now that I think of it, @truthforce has discussed some of these same issues with me ;>
Personally, I still need to follow up with Ben Garrison about my invitation to join us.
So we need to look at recruiting both major influencer, like Ben, and our friends and family to this place. And not just to Information War, but to Steemit as a whole, especially if they aren't all that political.
We also should think about recruiting already existing Steemers to use the tag more often where it applies!
- Data Sources
Sharing data sources is always a good idea. This could also include means or saving your data (Zotero)
- Expanding our reach (use of other media sites to spread our Steemit messaging)
I'm beginning to wear down, but IMO, this is an important one as well. Getting our Steemit articles out there for others to see will make it easier to recruit them here, for one thing!
So this is a rough outline for our community to think about, and as sooon as we get a good platform, we can kick some ideas around and see which pahio we follow as we set out for Deep State hack scalps ;>

Now that I got some things settled, I will have that video posted tomorrow to youtube/dtube :)
I have been using discord for other random things lately, its decent to use. Steemitchat works too if we all get a channel going in that.
Treadmill has been put together, walking a mile a day. On day 2! Will start jogging once I get some more walking under my belt, lose some weight.
Eating healthier to have the energy I need is starting to help as well as going to bed with 7 hours of sleep. That has been the major issue with me lately, every time I take off work for a few days I stay up late and mess up my circadian rhythm for the sleep cycle or whatever that is called. I am mostly back to normal now.
Kicking myself off of reddit and other timewasters is hard, been doing better on that front and focusing more on steemit reading and upvoting lately. Need to make this my primary platform of everything I do like I used to do. I got too comfortable with reddits echo chambers lately, ugh.

You build another taco bell if you think you want another taco bell. This system is corporate for profit pretending to hold public office.
