This will be an informative post on how to get others to sign up for steemit, the ways in which I am doing this, and the benefits you can tell people about signing up!

First things first, have you told your family members/friends about Steemit yet? Why not!?!?! They would be the first choice in who to talk to about signing up. Presumably, you have a good relationship with them and they trust you, so talking about Steemit with them should be fairly easy!!

Second, Have you told your online friends about Steemit? Are you a reddit user, another online forum user, are you on youtube, on twitch, facebook, twitter??? Have you told your followers or fellow forum goers about Steemit yet? If you see people who use these platforms a lot and make posts, you need to inform them they could ACTUALLY BE GETTING some small amounts of money for their time and effort on Steemit! Think about it, how often do you see people posting on reddit who get thousands of upvotes on a long written post, and they get absolutely nothing for it? THEY ARE MAKING THE SHAREHOLDERS OF REDDIT MONEY FOR THEIR TIME AND EFFORT... And not making anything for themselves!!!!

Third, Are you making 5 to 10 comments per day on Steemit? Are you re-steeming articles you like, are you upvoting comments/posts that are great? Are you sharing Steemit posts you like onto other platforms like facebook/twitter and other places? You should be! Upvoting/re-steeming/commenting is what makes Steemit grow larger, it is very important that you do these things on a daily basis. Stop wasting your time on reddit/facebook/twitter and make sure that you post things/comment things to Steemit instead!

Fourth, Be positive on Steemit! We need to keep in mind that being toxic will not help a situation become better. What does make a situation better is being polite/friendly and will to discuss subjects with other people who have a different point of view. Of course there is some room for trolling/memes and what not, but lets go out of our way to be nicer than the people on twitter/facebook are. Twitter and Facebook are completely ruined because of censorship of free thinkers and overall toxicity of those that remain on their platforms(most people on those platforms aren't there for critical thinking). It should be different here, here we all believe in a decentralized social media/world and understand that censorship is bad. Don't just downvote someone because they disagree with you here, only serious abuse/cyberbullying/illegal activities should really be downvoted here.

By doing all of the above mentioned things we can bring in new users, the new users will like what they see(our positivity and friendliness) and they will want to tell others of Steemit! :)
