My wife is finally listing her house for sale in Stouffeville, just north of Toronto. It's a cute little house in a great area. It's actually right across the street from a small lake and you almost have a lakeview!

She's had it for just over 5 years now and unfortunately for her shortly after buying it, she met me, feel in love and moved to the great white north! She ended up renting it for the last 4 and half years which has really been nothing but a disaster, so it will be good to get rid of the headaches and drama it caused.

What I'm really amazed with is the property values close to the big city compared to where we are living now! I find it hard to fathom. A place like this up here in Sudbury would be worth about one quarter of the asking price in the city, I can now see why the living expenses are so damn high in the city. We have a place double the size and on 70 acres of land up here and it's worth about half the price.

I'm just hoping someone buys it before it sits for the too long, we've had to do a bunch of reno's and stuff after the tenants and it will be nice to get some of our monthly expenses down. I'm not sure when it's all said and done that she's going to turn much of a profit, but for me it's all about that monthly balance sheet and taking some of the pressure off.
