What is Hook 'Em Up?
Our @BuddyUP community is growing and so is the quality content inside the POST POOL channels. Often, that content can be easily missed in the vast ocean of Steemit.
It’s our mission at BuddyUP to grow together, support each other and highlight the fantastic content that is created by our members. As part of that mission, we showcase talented content creators within the BuddyUP community, who also display a positive attitude and a community mindset, through our weekly curation post, Hook ‘Em Up!

We have another new member in our @BuddyUP family so let's join @freedomtowrite in her First Sci-Fi Five Minute Freewrite; the prompt is Vision: Describe the room you are in. She gives us a little creepy story about Milly, who is bound and coerced to describe a room she sees in a 'vision' by a blonde haired woman and a man with a pointy nose.
“Well?” barked the pointy nosed man.
“I’m in a room,” Milly said slowly.
“Describe the room you are in,” the blonde lady asked gently.
@freedomtowrite gives us some good dialogue between the characters in her free-write while the blonde woman tries to get information from Milly. You can't help but see the setting and feel Milly's angst and though this is a short five-minute free-write, you will have chills when you reach the end.
“Can you find him now?” Milly asked. “The bad man in my vision?”
“Not yet,” she said. “But because of what you can do, we‘re one step closer.”

There are some love spreading Steemians roaming around which brings me to our next member, @plushzilla. Not only does he like to spread the love, he's also an origamist; he makes miniature origami out of flower petals ... Yes, flower petals! In his latest post he shares with us his #reviewme profile and shows us all of the wonderful things in which he is involved.
Like many people who started out on Steemit, I brought my interests and skills from the outside world into this community that welcomed me with open arms.
Located in Australia, @plushzilla is one of those Steemians that make this platform the great place it is and although he is involved in many projects that take his time, he still finds time to do some fantastic things for others. When someone does something nice for us what do we do? We pay it forward!
It's time to rally the troops! Let's follow in his footsteps and spread some love! I'm calling on my @buddyup family to march on over to @plushzilla's post and help him reach 1000 stars!

Say hello to lovely, multi-talented @katrina-ariel who's hopped on our server recently and brings with her the voice of an angel and mad writing skills. In her Mission to Whoopass 5, Part 2 from the Steem Wars saga, she gives us an action-packed look into a fight between Princess KatLe'a and an eight-foot Xirpaq.
A low laugh came from the Xirpaq creeping toward her. Less composed laughter erupted in the audience. “Just a little hot oil,” he explained, “to make things fun.”
As a writer, sometimes it's not easy to write an action sequence but @katrina-ariel does it beautifully. I felt like I was there ringside, watching the fight seeing the twists and the turns and the spanking and nipple pinching action all right there in my head.
She pinched his nipple, hard, and he let her go with a guffaw. Panting, she retreated to a corner.
