Last night **Andrea Pirlo's Juve suffered its third defeat in the championship, which, together with the one suffered at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions League, brings to four the seasonal count of the times in which Madama has left the field with zero points. The beneficiary was Napoli, who, like last year, were in a crisis of play and results, but for the second time in a row managed to revive just in time for the match against their old rival.
Not that the Neapolitans did much to win, or that their uniforms were particularly sweaty at the end of the night, as a penalty kick awarded by referee Doveri, this time masterfully converted (unlike in the Super Cup) by Insigne, was enough to give Gattuso's eleven a new lease of life, but when all is said and done, whoever puts the ball in once more than the opposition is always right.
Someone, among the fans of the Old Lady and in the Italian sports press, has spoken of a provincial victory for the Napoli, but perhaps we are already forgetting how the success of Juventus over Roma came just a week before: on that occasion, it will be objected, the goals came from the play of the champions and not from a disputable penalty, which is certainly true, but which justifies a mediocre performance only in a very partial way.

The defeat was the result of a too soft and unconceivably disenchanted attitude in the first half for the Bianconeri, and even if the second half showed a much better disposed team on the field, able to press the opponents high and to bring several dangers to Meret's goal, throwing away forty-five minutes, as already seen in the past in other circumstances (against Crotone and Verona above all), can only lead to a different result from the one hoped for.
The champions of Italy have paid beyond measure the bad night of Giorgio Chiellini, who from the first phases, with a few wrong passes in the run-out, had shown not to be in one of his best performances, in addition to the intransigence of the referee, who called by VAR judged as a penalty a hand of the same captain of Juventus on the face of Rrahmani.
You can discuss all you want about the goodness of the choice of Doveri, assigning the right to Pirlo, who in post-match interviews spoke of an action similar to ten others that usually happen during ninety minutes, or to the referees, who after the review have judged as damage the flick received by the Neapolitan defender, but you risk not to come out and get lost in complementary and opposite theories.
What I would like to underline, however, is how with Doveri, round and round, in the end Juve never goes too well. When I hear his name mentioned in connection with the Bianconeri's match, I usually start to prepare for the worst: maybe this is all a coincidence or simply the result of my wrong personal evaluations, but do you remember the match in Udine a few seasons ago, when a penalty foul against Mandzukic was turned into a red card for the Croatian striker himself? I've only mentioned one, the most obvious one, so as not to bore you, but the list could be much longer.
Apart from the refereeing episodes, without which, however, it is good to remember, at most we would have brought home a measly point more, my impression, already underlined after the victorious match against Roma, is that this team cannot ignore the attitude. When you can't count on a squad of the best, the only way you can play to win something is through ideas (Atalanta docet).
Pirlo had started to do it, but then converted to an unhealthy Allegri style of comeback, which inevitably destabilized the team, also undermining its self-esteem. When you lose, but also when you win, after the opponents have beaten you for ninety minutes you can only come out in some way scarred in the head, but if you do not collect points after playing well and at times even dominated (see the match with the Fiorentina) you can even derive new awareness.
On Wednesday, it will be the turn of the Champions League, where the Porto, an opponent that according to the paper is within the reach of the Bianconeri and that is not going through a great period of form, will have to be faced with the right spirit, in order to try to build something important that will allow to remember this season as a starting point for new goals.
Pirlo has a great fortune on his side, almost never granted to the past coaches of Juventus, that is to say, after nine years of success, not to be forced to win at all costs: we are willing, and I think I speak also on behalf of the vast majority of Juventus fans, to take a year off, provided that we do not throw away the season and we exploit it to create a winning mentality, which passes through the beautiful game and the search for the domination of the opponents.
And please, let's put away Allegri for good. It may be a coincidence, but after five league titles, four Italian Cups and two Champions League finals he still hasn't found another team.

la Juve di Andrea Pirlo è andata incontro ieri sera alla terza sconfitta in campionato, che con quella patita per mano del Barcellona in **Champions League **portano a quattro il conto stagionale delle volte in cui Madama è uscita dal campo con zero punti. A beneficiarne è stato il Napoli, che come l'anno scorso si presentava in crisi di gioco e di risultati, ma che per la seconda volta di fila è risucito a rianimarsi giusto in tempo per la partita con la rivale di sempre.
Non che i partenopei abbiano fatto molto per vincere, o che le loro divise siano risultate particolarmente sudate a fine serata, dato che è bastato un calcio di rigore concesso dall'arbitro Doveri, questa volta trasformato (a differenza della Supercoppa) magistralmente da Insigne, per donare nuova linfa all'undici di Gattuso, ma a conti fatti chi butta la palla dentro una volta in più dell'avversario ha sempre ragione.
Qualcuno, tra i tifosi della Vecchia Signora e sulla stampa sportiva italiana, ha parlato per il Napoli di vittoria da provinciale, ma forse ci stiamo già dimenticando di come sia arrivato il successo della Juve sulla Roma, appena una settimana prima: in quell'occasione, si obietterà, i goal sono arrivati dalle giocate dei campioni e non da un rigore contestabile, cosa sicuramente vera, ma che giustifica una prestazione mediocre solo in maniera molto parziale.
La sconfitta è stato il risultato di un atteggiamento troppo molle e inconcebilmente disincantato nel primo tempo bianconero e anche se la ripresa ha mostrato una squadra disposta molto meglio in campo, abile a pressare alto gli avversari e a portare diversi pericoli alla porta di Meret, buttare via quarantacinque minuti, come già visto in passato in altre circostanze (contro Crotone e Verona su tutte), non può che portare ad un risultato diverso da quello sperato.
I campioni d'Italia hanno pagarto oltre misura la serata storta di Giorgio Chiellini, che fin dalle prime battute, con qualche passaggio sbagliato in uscita, aveva dimostrato di non trovarsi in una una delle sue migliori performances, oltre all'intransigenza dell'arbitro, che richiamato dal VAR ha giudicato da rigore una manata dello stesso capitano bianconero sulla faccia di Rrahmani.
Si può discutere quanto volete sulla bontà della scelta di Doveri, assegnando la ragione a Pirlo, che nelle interviste post-partita ha parlato di azione simile ad altre dieci che accadono solitamanete nel corso di novanta minuti, o agli arbitri, che dopo la revisione hanno giudicato come danno il colpetto ricevuto dal difensore napoletano, ma si rischia di non venirne più fuori e di perdersi in teorie complementari e opposte.
Quello che mi preme sottolineare è però come con Doveri, gira che ti rigira, alla fine alla Juve non va mai troppo bene. Quando sento il suo nome accostato alla partita dei bianconeri comincio solitamente a prepararmi al peggio: forse tutto questo sarà un caso o semplice frutto di mie valutazioni personali errate, ma vi ricordate la partita di Udine di qualche stagione fa, quando un fallo da rigore su Mandzukic venne tramutato in un cartellino rosso per lo stesso attaccante croato? Ne ho citata solo una, quella più eclatante, per non annoiarvi, ma la lista potrebbe essere molto più lunga.
Episodi arbitrali a parte, senza i quali comunque, è bene ricordarlo, al massimo si sarebbe portato a casa un misero punticino in più, la mia impressione, già sottolineata dopo la vittoriosa gara con la Roma, è che questa squadra non possa prescindere dall'atteggiamento. Quando non puoi contare su una rosa all'altezza delle migliori, l'unico modo che hai di giocartela per vincere qualcosa è passando dalle idee (Atalanta docet).
Pirlo aveva iniziato a farlo, salvo poi convertirsi ad un malsano Allegrismo di ritorno, che ha inevitabilmente destabilizzato la squadra, minandone anche l'autostima. Quando perdi, ma anche quando vinci, dopo che gli avversari ti hanno preso a pallate per novanta minuti non puoi che uscirne in qualche maniera segnato nella testa, ma se non raccogli punti dopo aver giocato bene e a tratti anche dominato (vedi partita con la Fiorentina) riesci addirittura a ricavarne nuove consapevolezze.
Mercoledì toccherà di nuovo alla Champions League, dove il Porto, un avversario sulla carta alla portata dei bianconeri e che non sta attraversando un grande periodo di forma, dovrà comunque essere affrontato con lo spirito giusto, per provare a costruire qualcosa di importante che permetta di ricordare questa stagione come un punto di partenza per successivi nuovi traguardi.
Pirlo ha dalla sua una grande fortuna, quasi mai concessa agli allenatori passati della Juventus, cioè quella, dopo nove anni di successi, di non essere costretto a vincere a tutti i costi: siamo disposti, e credo di parlare anche a nome della stragrande maggioranza dei tifosi juventini, a prenderci un anno di pausa, a patto che non si butti via la stagione e la si sfrutti per creare una mentalità vincente, che passi attraverso il bel gioco e la ricerca del dominio degli avversari.
E per favore, mettiamo definitivamente via Allegri che, sarà un caso, ma dopo cinque scudetti, quattro Coppe Italia e due finali di Champions League non ha ancora trovato un'altra squadra.

È da tanti anni che non seguo più il calcio... da quello che ho letto in questo post sembra che questo sia un campionato avvincente e che la Juve faticherà molto per vincerlo.
Caro Stefano hai ragione, è il campionato più incerto degli ultimi anni anche se credo ci sia un'unica grande favorita che è l'Inter. La Juve ha perso troppi punti e non ha mai trovato continuità quest'anno, per quello spero da juventino che almeno si cerchi di costruire qualcosa di buono per la prossima stagione.
