I hope you all are good and doing well. I'm here to be a part of this amazing contest SEC | S16-W2: “Mi propio tema de concurso" // “My own contest topic". I have decided many topics in this week for the contest but due to some health issues i can't made something very special to my family so obviously couldn't share here. So today I'm sharing one of my family's favourite recipe for the contest that is Prawns Biryani. Biryani is famous all over in our country ,its our traditional food too. Our gathering are incomplete without Biryani. I make Biryani once a week ,my family loved it.I'm sure you will like it.

Before starting contest I would like to invite @aaliarubab, @sualeha and @uzma4882 for the contest . Lets starts todays recipe

Prawns Biryani

Procedure:

  • Wash Prawns properly and put them on strainer to remove excess water from it. Prawns have its own smell so tovremove it's water by frying it in oil is very important. This step is key step for making any Prawns recipe. When excess water remove by frying then add ginger garlic paste into the pan and sotey it for some time.

  • Add all spices to the pan according to the recipe and fry it for some time.

  • Add cut tomatoes , fried onions and Yougart to tha pan. Cover the lid for 5_8min and cook it . Add green chilli to the pan .

  • Cook until oil comes on the surface. Now the Prawns are ready for Biryani.

  • Wash rice and soaks it for 20min ,add water to pan and add Cardamom, salt and clove to the water and boil it. Add rice to it and boil rice upto 90% then strain out excess water from rice.

  • Last step is assembling of Prawns masala and boiled rice. First put some oil in base of pan then add rice to the pan ,spread Prawns on rice in 2nd layer ,put another layer of rice put all rice and Prawns in layers. then in last layer add food colour on rice and 2_3tbs oil spread o allover the rice.

  • Cover the lid of pan and cook it for 10min on very low flame. Now Prawns Biryani is ready to serve. Mixed rice with Prawns spices with nicely. Yummy Biryani is ready to serve.

The above recipe can be made with chicken, mutton or beef ,just replace Prawns with the meat that you like and enjoy your favourite Biryani.

Assalam Alaikum my dear madam, how are you? Seeing your delicious Biryani, I feel hungry. It is our first fast here in Pakistan and I saw your delicious Biryani while I was fasting. Now my mouth is full mouthwatering 🤣. I hope you will continue to share your delicious recipe with us. I will try to make biryani like you at home because I find it very tasty but I also tell you that prawns are not eaten in my house, I only make chicken biryani and I will try chicken biryani.
