Who is your favorite sports personality? Write a few lines about him/her.

My favorite sports personality is Imran Khan♥️,ya one of the greatest cricketers in Pakistan's history. I have always been passionate about cricket, and although I follow and watch other sports but cricket has a special place in my heart.

He led Pakistan to its first ever Cricket World Cup victory in 1992, and his captaincy was remarkable. Although I wasn't born during his playing days, I often watch clips of his matches and follow his career closely.

I admire his bowling style, especially his fast bowling technique, which brought a new dimension to the game. He also mentored young bowlers like Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, who became key players in Pakistan's success.

Under his leadership, Pakistan achieved great heights, and even today, people fondly call him "The Captain."

Beyond cricket, I alos respect Imran Khan for his contributions off the field. After winning the World Cup, he used the prize money to build Pakistan's first cancer hospital, Shaukat Khanum Memorial on his mother name, instead of spending it on personal luxury

Helping the people of Pakistan continued when he became the Prime Minister, where he worked tirelessly yaa for the betterment of the nation. Even now, as he faces challenges, he remains dedicated to our country, which is why I admire him as both a cricketer and a leader.

What makes this sports personality your favorite, and how did you first learn about him/her?

Imran Khan is my favorite sports personality for many reasons. The first and most important reason is that he led Pakistan to its first ever Cricket World Cup victory in 1992.

That victory brought immense joy to our entire nation at that time , and it was a proud moment in Pakistan's cricket history. It was not only a significant achievement in sports but also a moment of great happiness for the people of Pakistan.

Another reason why Imran Khan is my favorite is because of his philanthropic work. He built Pakistan’s first cancer hospital, Shaukat Khanum, and has contributed to many other charitable projects, including the founding of Namal University.

I also appreciate Imran Khan for his leadership qualities, both in cricket and politics. When he entered politics, his vision for the country was focused on improving the lives of the people.

During his time as Prime Minister, especially in the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, his strategies, llike the smart lockdown, helped save jobs and kept the country’ss economy running.

I first learned about Imran Khan in 2013 when he became a well known pollitical figure. At first, I knew him only as a politician, but later I discovered that he was also a legendary cricketer who had led Pakistan to World Cup glory.

Learning about his achievements in cricket and his role as one of the greatest captains in Pakistan’s history made me admire him even more. Since then, I have followed his career closely and greatly respectt his contributions to both sports and the country.

Tell us briefly about the records or achievements which your favorite sports personality has achieved in his/her career.

Imran Khan's cricket career, though relatively brief, was marked by significant achievements and records. Over his career, he made notable contributions both as a player and as a captain.

1. Test Records: Imran Khan scored over 3,800 runs in Test matches and took 362 wickets. His all round performance in Test cricket was exceptional, and he was known for his ability to deliver crucial performances under pressure.

2. One-Day Internationals (ODIs): In ODIs, Imran Khan played 175 matches, scoring over 3,700 runs and taking 182 wickets. He was instrumental in leading Pakistan to their first World Cup victory in 1992, a landmark achievement in his career.

1. Batting Records: He is known for his impressive batting feats, including scoring a century off a very few balls, which was highly celebrated at the time.

2. Hall of Fame: His remarkable contributions to cricket were recognized globally, and he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame, highlighting his status as one of the game's greats.

If you had the chance to meet this sports personality, what would you ask or do, and why?

If I ever got the chance to meet Imran Khan, it would be such an exciting and unforgettable moment for me. The first thing I'd do is thank him for everything he's done for the country😌🇵🇰, whether it’s winning the 1992 World Cup, building cancer hospitals, universities, or his role in politics.

I'd love to take a picture or video with him and get his autograph to remember the moment. I'd also ask if I could take a picture with his 1992 World Cup final jersey because seeing him wear that has always been super inspiring for me.

If I had the chance, I’d love to ask him about his journey and how he sees leadership and helping others, since those things have always motivated me a lot.
