Achievement 5 | Task 2 by @zmoreno: Review Steemscan.com
Hello to all my dear readers! I hope you are having a wonderful day. This time I will be completing the second Achievement 5 task, in which we will talk about the most important aspects of one of the most useful and relevant platforms in the steem ecosystem: SteemScan.

What is SteemScan?
SteemScan is a simple exchange platform created by the witnesses @roadofrich and @futureshock. Thanks to it, it is possible to exchange a given amount of steems with three different cryptocurrencies: USDT, BTC and TRX. SteemScan allows blockchain users to perform such transactions without the need for KYC verification.

This tool also allows us to easily view the current Steem and BTC values.
Upon entering the desktop web page, the first thing that appears on startup are the following graphs:
Within these graphs you specify the value that the respective cryptocurrency has acquired in a day, a week, a month, a quarter and a year.
Below you can see how Steem has performed so far today:
Steem's current value in exchange for USD is 0.52 and its volume is 388,124,171 STEEM.
Latest transactions and latest blocks section

In SteemScan we can also see people's activity on the Blockchain. That is, transfers, votes, comments and so on: any active action that is performed within the platform by stemmians.
We go to "home". Here we will see the list of the latest transactions that have been performed on the #steemit platform.
When we press "Latest Blocks" in the same option box, we will see a different list. This list corresponds to the miners doing block transactions.
Witnesses section

In this session you can see all the information related to the activity of the witnesses. Currently there are a total of 14955 witnesses active on the platform.
In the list we can see in descending order all the active witnesses in the community, the one at the top being the most popular. You can see information such as their status, how much they have mined, version, etc.
How can I vote for a witness?
To vote for a witness you need to click on "Vote!".
Once accessing the button, it will direct us to a page to confirm the transaction. Upon confirmation, your vote will be directed to the witness.
DApps

These are the applications belonging to the Steem Blockchain. Under this name, SteemScan lists them in a list in which it describes their purpose, link and creator. For example, we have:
- Steemit: our star community; I have used Steemit daily since January and it has become part of my lifestyle. Steemit functions as a social network; you can share, comment and vote on other people's postings, as well as post on your own blog or in communities on specific topics, such as food, entertainment, literature, etc. Steemit is a very harmonious and healthy community in which I have felt very happy and accompanied.
- SteemWorld: SteemWorld is a very useful tool to obtain information regarding my profile on the Blockchain. Since I didn't know of its existence before I started fulfilling the fifth achievement, I now use it constantly to access my account activity. It has become one of my favorite tools as it is extremely useful and easy to use.
- Dtube: is an entertainment app related to blockchain where you can watch videos. I think it is an excellent tool to make tutorials or informative videos that teach us how to make the most of our stay in the Steem Blockchain. I've never used it, but it would definitely be interesting to be able to one day.
Quick Convert

To change steems to any of the above mentioned currencies (BTC, USDT or TRX), we enter the "Quick Convert" session. The following window will appear immediately:
We fill in the form. How much steem do you want to transfer? And choose the currency to which you want to convert your steems. Immediately the system will tell us below how much will be transferred and what commission is to be paid. For example:

Search Feature

Here we can search the content available on the SteemScan platform; for example: different witnesses (using their username), transactions, accounts or blocks (to which you can put several search parameters to narrow down the results).
