Achievement 3 Task by @uheni : Content Etiquette
The term plagiarism is defined in the Dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy as the action of "copying in substance the works of others, giving them as their own". From the legal point of view it is an infringement of copyright on an artistic or intellectual work of any kind, which is incurred when a work of others is presented as its own or original.
source from which you take this source information
we commit plagiarism, when we use the content, of other people as our own, we benefit from information that does not belong to us, presenting the ideas of others as our own, let's not pretend to own a work that is not, and we cite sources or authors of information that is not ours.
types of plagiarism
Direct plagiarism: direct plagiarism is done when the text is copied, from an author, and nothing is changed to the text, it is left as it is copied, and nothing is altered the work is a resounding plagiarism to the author and a very brazen one.
Mosaic plagiarism: this happens when a person copies different parts of text from different sources and places them in a publication, and joins each of them, and makes it pass as a work totally of its own, a very common plagiarism and difficult to detect.
paraphrase plagiarism: this plagiarism occurs when a text is copied and only the meaning of the words is changed, not the text itself making some words have a different meaning but the idea of the text remains the same
self-plagiarism: occurs when a content creator reuses a certain amount of previous work, and passes it off as totally new jobs, recycling jobs we have created, it is not correct means that we have no ideas and that we use old works, because we run out of ideas to create new things.
let's avoid plagiarism
we must stay away from plagiarism, how? because very simple using our brains, and creating content with the not stealing from other users or content creators, in this steemit platform plagiarism is a serious breach of the laws and rules of the community, so we must always place the sources of the information we extract from the Internet by placing the sources or citing where we have gotten the information, if we do plagiarism within a community we lose credibility and support from it, plagiarism is a practice, strictly prohibited.
so we already know how to avoid plagiarism, let's cite the sources and authors, create our own content, be original, no spam, and be honest when creating a publication.
