Hello @steemalive and @steemitblog, here is my report for Lagos City Steemit activities for the week that was just spent. In this week that was just spent, we have started implementing some of the plans we had drafted out in our previous reports.

Retention

Judging from the above summary, we can see that the number of active usershas increased as against the inactive users, though i will see try every possible thing within my reach to make sure that these inactive users gets active again.

Since the last time we had our first steemit meetup, i noticed that there was a reactivation of zeal to become inactive again by some in active users. Again our telegram channel had been of great use in following up users and giving useful updates that can help sustain users on the platform. As you can see from the below screenshot, we have about 57 subscribers on our telegram channel.

In a bid to also encourage engagement and activeness of members, i had set a contest exclusively for Lagos steemians, which some of them have participated in. The contest talks about their 3 years vision/goal on steemit and their plan on how to get there, here is the contest announcement post. I believe this contest will help them plan and restrategise on their journey here on steemit, even as they best 5 winners gets some steem prizes as reward. Our Plans

To make steemit branded t-shirts for all Lagos Steemians.
I had always planned to make a branded t-shirt for all Lagos Steemians and i started taking steps towards it. I am happy to announce to you guys that the plan has become a reality today, because @stephenkendal offered to sponsor us with 100 steem for the printing of our t-shirt, which we have already started printing. The below pictures are our t-shirts, though there is a little adjustment by @stephenkendal, but it had been fixed already. I am printing 70 for a start due to the daily increase in the number of lagos steemians on daily basis. The t-shirt is costing me 350 steem for the 70 t-shirts.

Getting a steemit training center.
After the meetup we had on 9th of May 2021, i saw a damn need of getting a steemit training center in my city where steemians and newbies can always come for training and seminars. The meetup we had helped in settling a whole lots of confusions and questions that the newbies had over a period of time now, which brought about their activeness again. Though i had been looking out to a lot of strategic places to secure a center, which i believe will be ready soonest.

Radio station publication and sponsored adverts.
though i had been running daily ads on my social media handles about steemit, i am going to make it more intensive once our training center is ready. This radio station publication is going to help in reaching a wide range of audience in my city as well as the sponsored ads.

These and more are my plans for Steemit in my locality (Lagos City Nigeria).
