Week 27
My fellow Steemians
This week has been one of the most difficult weeks for me on Steemit. I broke a finger in my left hand, with the result that typing was not only extra slow but unbelievably frustrating. Grrr!
Three good things:
- I didn’t need any surgery
- It is time for the men in the house to do the dishes!
- I could watch the Ryder Cup
Posts might have been slower coming, but I did not fail to complete my daily tasks, including commenting on posts, verifying posts, and helping my fellow Steemians.

Steem For Ladies
This community is still showing week-on week growth, with the number of posts and members increasing each day.
A summary of my duties in this community:
- Curation and verification of posts on my day of duty as well as filling in on the days of others
- Educating and monitoring 6 moderators
- Validating MOD verifications
- Verifying new members
- Booming posts submissions and community voting
- Taking care of community notifications and comments
- Writing of 2 community posts
- Monitoring and running of community contests
- Lending a helping hand to members of the community
- Approval of moderator contests
A big thank you to the all the ladies, and men, who supports this community.
General:
Lending a helping hand to my fellow Steemians is still the first priority on my list.
This week, support for three Steemians happened mainly via WhatsApp.
Africa:
It is still a priority to support Steemians from Africa by giving advice, supporting posts, and commenting.
Communities:
It seems like the communities were doing well this week, as not one of them asked for my assistance or advice.
Issues encountered:
1. Diary posts
The biggest problem I’ve encountered this week is Steemians writing diary posts and sharing images of different dates. This is not what is required of a diary post.
A diary is used to keep track of a specific day’s activities and inner thoughts, and the same is applicable to diary posts on Steemit.
Write your post about a specific day and share the images of that day.
This is not the first time I’ve reported this problem.
2. Contest rules
When you want to open a business, the first thing you look at is location… location… location!
When you enter a contest on Steemit the first thing you MUST look at is rules… rules… rules!
So many Steemians are still missing the rules of a contest.

Years ago, it got caught between the wooden panels of the automated garage doors. Then two weeks ago, I hit it against a table in the bathroom, and then last week against the kitchen counter.
How on earth I got it right twice in a week, I truly don't know.

He was very sorry about his accident, things happen without us even realizing it, great that he doesn't need surgery and that with rest he will soon be as good as new.
I congratulate Ma for your willingness to work despite the situation, I believe that when we are responsible, no matter the limitations, we will always be able to comply.
He sent you many blessings, that you really enjoyed watching the men of the house wash the dishes and watching the Ryder Cup

I am sure that in a week or so it will be better although I have to keep it all strapped in a splint for 6 weeks. I am learning typing without using that finger. Getting there slowly but surely. (•ิ‿•ิ)
