The 141. edition was played with 11 players!
Should we continue this format?
In every chess tournament there are rules that are sometimes different than you are used to. And so it was again today in a special tournament with time handicap. Some players seem to play completely detached from the rules as they please. But I announced it beforehand and re-rated all the games. There are no extra points for berserks and no extra points for winning stretches. So the goal of the tournament is completely achieved and the distances are much fairer than usual with just a few points. Nevertheless, the strong players effortlessly assert themselves, provided they play according to the rules. The weaker players may give up their games immediately if the stronger ones don't wait, the game will then be considered won. And this results in the following table for today:

In jedem Schachturnier gibt es Regeln die manchmal anders sind als man es gewohnt ist. Und so war es auch heute wieder in einem Spezial Turnier mit Zeit Handicap. Einige Spieler scheinen völlig losgelöst von den Regeln zu spielen wie es ihnen beliebt. Aber ich habe es vorher angekündigt und habe alle Spiele neu bewertet. Es gibt keine Extra Punkte für Berserken und auch keine Extra Punkte für Gewinnstrecken. Somit ist das Ziel des Turniers völlig erreicht und die Abstände sind mit wenigen Punkten viel fairer als sonst. Trotzdem setzen sich die starken Spieler mühelos durch, vorrausgesetzt sie spielen nach den Regeln. Die schwächeren Spieler dürfen ihre Partien sofort aufgeben wenn die Stärkeren nicht warten, die Partie wird dann als gewonnen gewertet. Und dadurch ergibt sich für heute folgende Tabelle:

Ich will Schach spielen und Spaß haben (hey, das ist mein Wochenende!), nicht Rating-Differenzen und Sekunden zählen. Und dann müsste ich theoretisch während des Turniers auch noch den Berserk-Bonus und die Gewinn-Streak Punkte herausrechnen, um zu wissen, wo ich überhaupt in der Tabelle stehe, come onnnn! :-)
Das ist nichts für mich - werde an diesem Format nicht mehr teilnehmen, solange die Zeitbonusidee nicht softwareseitig realisiert wird.
I play chess all day with rapid control, and it's a fast game. I make exceptions from daily tournaments for blockchainers who are chasing somewhere in five minutes. All that is faster is for me a meaningless competition of Internet connections and reflexes. These rules are not a very successful attempt to balance the participants in parameters that are not related to chess, which should be enjoyable.

@schamangerbert i played 3 games against @jaki01 and he did Berserk in all of them - last game i didnt notice that and i
surendered but @jaki01 played by the rules in all games against me
conditions to play were bad for me today but i decided to participate anyway ( not so good idea)
So i have only 4 points
No points for me today :)
More than 800 points difference >>>> 160 seconds, that is 2 minutes and 40 seconds, so he had to wait 10 seconds more.
So all 3 games are won for you. That was the rule.
