I play chess all day with rapid control, and it's a fast game. I make exceptions from daily tournaments for blockchainers who are chasing somewhere in five minutes. All that is faster is for me a meaningless competition of Internet connections and reflexes. These rules are not a very successful attempt to balance the participants in parameters that are not related to chess, which should be enjoyable.
