My Proposals For Steemit Development Incentive Program

Namaste 🙏 to all of you. I joined this platform 2017. I've noticed a lot of changes in the Steemit platform since my joining day.

After a long time, the Steemit team now focuses on development based on users' wishes. I am very very happy after seeing this update.

I am currently working as a Moderator in two communities: #Steemphotos and #HindWhaleCommunity, and I have the opportunity to work as a Team Curator for September Month too.

I go through my communities, along with other community members, to meet these responsibility needs.

From handling those responsibilities, I gained some knowledge about user issues, and in my today's post, I will share my proposals for steem development needs based on my experiences.

Change Present Default Page To Top Ranked Posts

At present, the default page of the Steemit platform does not deserve this. It is because it shows posts based on post value and not on quality. First and foremost, all users are well familiar with it. I don't like this Default Trending Page on Steemit.

Because ,if any outsider visits our platform, by showing this trending page as a default, they easily understand the Bots and Whales' ruling here. We don't get any quality posts here to spend our time. So there is a high chance to get negative opinion on it.

So change this default trending page into Top Ranked posts as default steemit trending page.

I try my best,to explain with an example.

At present, on the main page, we are getting 4 options Trending, New, Payouts, and Muted.

Add the Top Ranked Tab now. This page has been set as the Steemit platform's Default Page.

Again, we have a question about how the Top Ranked Tab works??.

I have one plan. Let's explain with a real example.

The Steem Engagement Challenge is currently underway, with the community curator awarding a score based on performance to each user who participates.

If we list posts based on scores under the Top Ranked List, it gives recognition to quality authors and also gives motivation to other users.

Every community will judge users' posts based on their quality. By combining all active authors, based on their average score, you may list authors' posts under the Top Ranked Category.

From this, we may get positive opinions from outsiders who visit for the first time, and also give good recognition to quality authors. Here they get a chance to get extra rewards from other users too.

For new users, it gives a lot of motivation. They also work hard to reach that level and try to give their best.

Divide each community window into three sections: Pinned Posts, Verified Posts, and Not Verified Posts.

When curators start curating other publications, the present window gives a lot of issues. Because here, more than 5+ curators are working to verify authors' posts.

They don't know, which posts are already curated and which need to be verified.

For this, we need to recheck my opening for each post. It consumes a lot of time and wastes curator energy.

If we divide the Community Page into 3 categories, it's become very easy to navigate.

Add Default Beneficiary 10% For Steem Development Account by removing burnsteem25

---

I know that after introducing #burnsteem25, we are reducing new supply into the market.

But the authors are not happy with it. In my opinion,

Why? Because At present post reward is split 50-50 between authors and curators.

However, by setting 25% to Null, the author receives 25% of the reward only.

In some cases, he again needs to set 10% beneficiary to the community where he giving his publication.

Finally, the author receives 15% of the rewards only.

If he doesn't get good support, then his income is not even $0.5. Sometimes it must be less than that too.

All users work here to full filling their financial needs, so without earnings why do they need to work here??

Besides this, setting a 10% beneficiary by default for the steem development account is the best choice.

If possible divide , present reward mechanisms like this. 40% to the author, 40% to the curator, and 10% to the steem development account.

Now, use that 10% reward to steem Development needs and also use for Buy Back And Burn needs.

From this , at least possible to keep Users happily, they also work hard and try their best to give quality posts always.

Along with this, by doing regular buyback and burn, we may create demand and hype in the market too.

If it gives better results, then we may slowly remove butnsteen25 and club status requirements here.

In my opinion, this 10% default beneficiary for the Steem Development account gives better results than the present applying burnsteem25 and club requirements.

I know the burnsteen25 setting is only in users' hand, but on seeing other posts with that tag, they are also using it by an unknown force.

I hope Team think about this plane.

Introduce Posting To tab under Blog Published Window

I face a lot of issues regarding it. By default, it is set to publish in our blog, but if you want to post our publication in any other community, you must go to that community first, then after clicking only possible to publish their content in that community.

If a user publishes a post in the wrong community, they must delete that post and republish it in their desired community, according to this user's losing time.

By introduces a Posting To tab at the end of the publishing window, which will give us more comfort.

From this list, This show all subscribed community details. From this, they select which they want to publish. From this users publish their content very easily and comfortably.

Need Inbuilt Word Counter and Auto Translate Feature

We need an inbuilt word counter and an auto-translate feature.

During my curation time, I face a lot of issues reading it.

By copying the post link, by using Google tools, I first translate my comfort language, and then I verify that post.

It's time-consuming. Due to verification, at least we can read by translating. If any outsiders visit, they simply skip it and go on to other things.

To avoid those issues, introducing an inbuilt auto translator is a good choice.

Need Share Links For Comments too

For sharing publications, how do we get the Share This Post link, it We need those for comments too.

Sometimes, we want to share those particular comments, but getting that comment link becomes hard.

At the start of my curation days, I faced a lot of issues regarding. Later, my team told me, just by clicking the time beside the comment, it redirects to a new window, and by copying the URL of that page, we get that comment link.

I don't know how many users are aware of it. Why is there so much conflict here? Besides this, just adding a link for comments is a good choice.

Under Notification Sections , need Two more Features Updates From Team, Updates From Communities.

By adding this notification feature, users will get notifications from the team along with their following communities. From this, they don't miss any important information.

At present, Steem has official accounts on other social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and Bitcointalk.org like those platforms.

But, They are only active on Twitter. Here they give daily updates. On Twitter. Steem has 112k followers. It's great.

But if you scroll down to check how much interaction we are getting, it must be less than 10, with some posts not even having 1 like either.

It shows how we do marketing on other social media platforms about Steem.

On the Steemit platform, we have a lot of active users but we are not utilising them correctly.

If users get a notification regarding it, all users must show their support on other social media platforms too.

If all users give just one like and re-steem, then steem will become trending on every social media account.

Due to a lack of notifications, users are not interacting.

At the same time, we need official accounts on all social media platforms like Telegram, Discord, Youtube and all available social media platforms too.

From this, it is only possible to connect users very easily and solve their issues in a short period.

Besides those, some other proposals like adding tags for witnesses, country representatives, and team curators.

Until they tell us we are witnesses, no one knows he is a witness. But they are working hard to keep the smooth working of this platform, but they're not getting that much recognition. By adding a tag beside their name, it gives recognization along with motivation too.

Along with need a weekly report from witnesses too. From this, users will know what they are doing at the back end.

I recommend those proposals for Steemit Development Incentive Program needs.

But I don't know if those are possible or not, but it's my wish to see STEEM with those.
