The diary game 24/05/2024// my support to my kids teacher on his wedding day as a Camara woman.

Friday was one of my surprise day because of what I saw and what I was able to do,.
It was a big day for Mr. Benjamin Abhayor oseremen, we usually call him Mr Ben, he is a teacher in my kids school, he is also a pastor at the redeem christian church if God.

So yesterday was their court wedding and traditional wedding, as a parent, I was invited to the occasion. The exact day was yesterday which was 24th/05/2024. So guys let's check out what really happened

in the morning I work up from my bed, knell down and I offer a little prayer to God, when I was done I picked up my phone and I start commenting on friends post, while working on the platform, my new recruite @patienceukanah called me and she asked me if I will be attending the marriage and I said yes, and she told me that she will be attending the marriage and from there come to my house so that she will be able to learn more about steemit. Her distance is very far and I recruit her through online, she is from my village.

After the call, I quickly took my bath, brush my teeth, look for a dress to put on and then I picked my recycle black hand bag and use.

About leaving the house.

By the time I finished dressing up and I checked the time, it was 12pm, so I picked up my hand bag then picked my hand bag and I left the house, I trek down to the main road then pick a bike to the main road so that I can enter motor to the park, when I reach the road, I boarded a bus that will talk me to plaza.

Since where I was going was another local government, I had to go to a nearby pack that I will be able to see vehicle, so when I reach the park, there was one empty bus, and I enter, before you know passengers start coming and the motor was full.

When the bus was filled the driver started collecting money and when he was done , he start the motor and we depart to the local government, the name of the local government is Abak local government.

The driving didn't last upto 30munites, the driver drop us at the Abak local government park and I boarded a bike that will take me to the venue of the marriage. The venue was already written on the invitation card that was sent to me on Whatsapp, so when I got the venue, I saw the address a small sign post and I know I was at the right place.

So by the time I reached the venue, everything was set, and the groom was somewhere around the venue, so I picked up my phone then call him to know the exact location he is because I needed to see him, so he send someone to come for me, so I follow the lady he send to where he was.

Like few minutes later, I saw @patienceukanah on top of bike so I stop her and she came and sat with us. We took some pictures together.

After some times, some of the teachers of my kids school came around.

We stood there for a while, then we discussed the way to forward on steemit.

The marriage didn't start at the right time, so we waited, by 4pm people start coming out.

By 4.30pm, the marriage started with prayers and it was time for the food to be shared to the well wishes, I was call to come and inspect the food because they saw that I was closed to the groom, so I make sure all the local dishes was in place and I gave them the approval to go ahead and share the food that is complete.

I make sure I shared the food to all the teachers that came around and all the church people that came around and others people shared the food to all the villagers.

When we were done sharing of the food, the brides parents match in and they were so young, and I ask myself how will tgeir daughter looks like because I have not meet with the lady before.

When the brides parents came out, we were ask to go and bring the groom, and I noticed that they didn't bring Camara man to thier marriage so I had to make use of my phone so that after the marriage they can have something to look back at.

So I went and took pictures of the groom matching in, i took him pictures with his friends and family.

When he match down, he was ask to do some demonstration and he welcome all the elders and his parent and the brides parents., the he went to his seat and sat.

After examining the group, It was time for the bride to come out, so I joined them to bring the bride out, remember, I am their camera woman for that day. So I went to take the bride some pictures and guest what, she is a very small girl, what came into my mind was that if she will be able to manage the home as a house wife, does she understand what marriage is all about?

So I went and arranged her then took her some pictures with her friends.

When I was done taking her pictures, she then match into the marriage with her friends, she was directed to go round and greet all the family members, and when she was done, she went and seat with her parent.

After introducing the wife, it was time for elders to perform the marriage rights, so the asked the wife and the husband to match out, then the MC ask the husband for Three bottles of wine, 1 for the bride's father, another one for the bride's mother and the last one for the marriage right .

When they came out, both parents were asked to come out, the chief of that village too came out and every other elders came out too, the pastor prayed first and hand over the marriage to God, finally the brides family hand over the brides to the groom family.

After performing the marriage right, they all stand and took pictures with their love ones and they went back to their seat, I took them different pictures.
It was getting dark so I had to go back home, since @patienceukanah was to go back home with me so that I can train her for two days to be perfect with her writing. So I took her with me back to my house.
After reaching home I sent the pictures to the groom on Whatsapp and he was so happy, he then appreciate all that I did to him.

Since I was so tired and we had all night prayers in church, so we moved straight to the church because with the way I was tired, If I reach home, I won't have been able to go to church again so we went to church at once.

So friends that was how my day went, so stressful and enjoyable, but I love my new found work, Camara woman.
