Contest: The level of absence of rights in my country

Greetings to you all, fellow Steemians. I trust you and your loved ones are all doing well. It's a day of contests here, and it interests me to organize a contest titled "The Level of Absence of Rights in My Country."

All people have rights, yet frequently, other people or even the government trample on those rights. In most countries today, the government and those influential people in the society usually oppress the citizens with laws they can't keep, like in the case of Nigeria, where the government would make a law and still be the ones to break it. Citizens don't enjoy their fundamental human rights anymore because of the level of lack of rights in our society.

CONTEST HINTS

1. How is the level of human rights in your place?

2. Do you think you are currently enjoying your fundamental human rights as a citizen of your country? Tell us how you have been enjoying it.

3. Do you have any such story where your rights were trampled? It doesn't have to be about you. Just tell us a case where someone had their rights trampled on by someone who should have upheld them.

You can be creative in your analysis beyond the contents guidelines.
