Reflecting on my journey, I now understand that this proverb holds profound wisdom, especially when applied both in everyday life and on platforms like Steemit.
Expectations and Reality in the Professional Path
After completing my studies, I embarked on the working world with the enthusiasm and determination typical of a young person my age. I firmly believed that success would welcome me before forty. However, the reality proved different from my expectations. Despite numerous opportunities that presented themselves, circumstances beyond my control prevented me from fully seizing them. These experiences taught me that, despite our best efforts, it is not always possible to predict or control how events will unfold.
Reflections and Personal Growth
Life is a mosaic of happy moments and challenges; our actions are often the result of a balance between what the heart desires and what the mind believes to be the right choice. I admit I haven't always made the right choices, but each decision has contributed to shaping the person I am today. This realization led me to count the "eggs," or my expectations of success, later in life, around my fifties. Only then did I begin to address unresolved issues, allowing me to find peace with myself.

I set realistic goals and strive to manage my expectations, always reminding myself that the value of the journey lies as much in the path as in the destination. I commit to contributing with authenticity and passion, hoping to inspire other community members.

I wonder... What's the point in counting eggs, especially before they hatch?
A hatched egg will not necessarily grow up in a healthy chick or rooster ready to be grilled.
So I ask you what's the point of counting, calculating success for a future that might never come?
What does success mean anyway if we are easily been replaced?
Mistakes?
I didn't make any only took deciscions based on the time and moment I lived in.
There's nothing to regret exept for wasting my time by working hard.

To me creativity is the key and if issues arise I know I can handle them, survive because I did so many times before.

I am an introvert too, so are my children. Indeed knowing is not the same as practising but awareness is the first step. There's no need to be an extrovert.
this is already the second characteristic that unites us, not bad considering that we know nothing about ourselves, it is interesting to get to know each other competition after competition. I wish you and your children a happy Sunday
I don't really like to join these competitions. Not that the average of what I write is read/rewarded.. but at least I feel more happy after a story of 10 minutes writing than those Q&A articles meant for a database.
