Introduction
Hello steemians, it's the last week of the steemit engagement challenge contest, the previous week was cool and I believe this week will be great as well. Today I'm taking part in the contest organized by the steemkids community on the topic: Childhood or adulthood,which do you prefer? Seriously this topic is very interesting and I'm glad that I'm participating. Thank you @steemkids for giving us this lovely topic.
Who is considered as a child in your country? Include age.
A Child can be a boy or a girl under the age of majority, that is to say, a child is a human between the age stages of his or her birth and puberty or it can be between the development period of infancy. A child can also be seen as a person that someone has given birth to, weather a boy or a girl,who hasn't grown up yet. He or she is inexperienced in some of the certain things and someone behavior in an immature way or manner.
In my country Nigeria, a child is being considered from the day he or she was born to the day he or she clocked 18 years. That is to say a child is range from the age of 0-17. And once he or she gets to 18 years, that person is being considered as an adult.
Who is considered as an adult in your country? Included age.
An Adult is someone who is of age that is from 18years upward, so in my country when you reached 18 years you will be considered as an adult and at this age you will be given some responsibility to handle. In some part of Nigeria some parents have this beliefs that once a child is up to 18years he or she will start planning his or her own life. That is to say, that person will not depend on them for Everything, he or she will start putting efforts to see that he assist the family in one or the other.
In some tradition here in Nigeria once you are off age, some parents will send you out of the house to go and look for Greener pastures in another place because, they believe that, at that age you Know your left and right very well. And you can take care of yourself.
Mostly for females, when you reached 18years the parents will start pressuring the girl's to get married or better still force them into married out of their well. Adulthood comes with a lot of ups and downs.
Childhood or Adulthood, which do you prefer?
To me I prefer childhood more than adulthood because, when I was a child my parents those everything for me, I don't use to over think because I know everything I want will be granted with less stress. But now that I'm an adult hummm before you open your mouth to say mummy I need this she will complete the sentence for you saying “ you are now an adult I also want to collect From you” go and marry, at at least my husband and I have tried for you🤣 that's Nigerians mother's for you.
Give at least 3 reasons why you prefer childhood or adulthood
Below are the reasons why I prefer childhood than adulthood
- A child don't need to worry about the food or the clothes e he or she will wear because he knows that the parents will provide everything for him or her. So the only for the child is just to enjoy his life and play around with his friends and family. But as an adult you have think on how you can settle those bills on daily basis.
- When you are a child it is more easier to gain more knowledge because you are free, and you don't have any issues but when you are an adult thinking alone will not allow you to concentrate very well because you have a lot going through your head.
- Childhood is the best time to create memories, that memories always brings smiles on our faces when we grow, also it is the time that we filled we have everything life has to offer. But as an adult the future always worries us a lot because you will be making more effort to see that you archive something in life, like building your own house, buying cars and a lot More.

Conclusion
In conclusion, childhood and adulthood is a step in which everyone most pass through in life, because childhood is a stage in life when we are still growing up while the adulthood is when we have grown up. Childhood is very sweet and interesting but adulthood is stressful but everyone most pass through this stages weather you like it or not. I agree with you on this, one major effect of being an adult is overthinking. Most of us have found ourselves in this situation and we keep praying for is for everything to fall in the right place and we can enjoy life. Your puffy cheeks in the throwback pictures show how much you had enjoyed your childhood, I wonder why you wouldn't prefer childhood to adulthood 😆.
Childhood days are great, those are the days you have nothing bothering your heart, everything you need is sorted by your parents/guardians. I think I would prefer adulthood with sufficient resources.

Adulthood is cool too but it's not always easy at all.

Thank you for sharing your opinion on the contest topic. You have clearly talked about why you prefer childhood to adulthood. Most of what you said is valid. Indeed, a children will be able to learn more than adult because they don't mind making mistakes. But adults are always conscious of making mistakes and that's why adults don't really learn.

You have written well on the topic under review my friend, indeed childhood is more fun that the adulthood because you have less worries since everything is been provided to you by your parents.
