Hello my loving Steemians!

Today Iโ€™m gonna share with you something really interesting and something that many parents๐Ÿ‘ช are worried about with their little cubs๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป. Hehe!!! Now you are curious about it right?

Actually, It is how my little toddler takes her mains and snacks and how I prepared them by myself๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ.

As a mommy, I know that every parent is concern about what to give to their baby or to toddler to eat.

Some may worry๐Ÿ˜Ÿ about that even though they prepared foods, their kids are refusing to eat them. Ergo, from today, I would like to share what my toddler eats and what tactics I used to feed her. I think it will immensely support for the parents of Steemkids.

This is what my little one ate as her lunch yesterday.

INGREDIENTS ๐Ÿ‘‡

  • Rice
  • Thoor dhal
  • Pumpkin

  • Pure ghee butter

  • Finely diced spring onions
  • Curry leaves
  • Pandan leaves

  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of curry powder
  • Pinch of turmeric powder

  • Moringa leaves

Here to prepare this, I used clay pot, coz it is recommend to use clay pots to cook rather than aluminum pans ๐Ÿ™.

When cooking baby foods, remember to use pure coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil , butter or ghee butter. Using vegetable oil is not recommended for babies and if you are using extra virgin olive oil, do not use it to frying and cooking, add it when the baby is ready to consume it. Thereby, your baby can intake its nutrition easily ๐Ÿ’ช.

PROCEDURE ๐Ÿ‘‡

Step 01

Initially I washed rice and thoora dhal and add some water and let it to cook under medium heat.

While it is cooking, I prepared veggies mixture that will be going to add to that steamed rice. Here I used preboiled sprouted green grams and before dicing pumpkin, put pieces of it in a salt water for overnight to remove its chemicals and debris.

Step 02

Put a clay pot on the gas cooker and add some pure ghee butter into it.

Step 03

Add diced pumpkin, curry leaves and pandan leaves into it. Let it sautรฉ for two minutes under low flame.

Step 04

Add preboiled sprouted green grams and stir it well and let it to cook under low heat.

Step 05

Then add pinch of salt, curry powder and turmeric powder into it and mix it well. Switch of the gas cooker.

Step 06

Lastly add finely diced onions and some moringa leaves into it.

So now veggies mixture is ready to serve and before that mix it with steamed rice.

Along with this healthy dish, served stir fried fish with unsalted butter.

NUTRITIONAL BENEFITS OF INGREDIENTS

sprouted green grams

  • Sprouted green grams enriched with high protein and many vitamins which has many antioxidants that cause to reduce blood cholesterol levels and lower the risk of strokes and heart attacks.

pumpkin

  • It packs with vital vitamins which may help to boost your immunity.

Ergo, you all can witness how nourishes her lunch and after a heavy mess I could able to feed her it.
