THE DIARY GAME:06/08/2020:Going shopping with brother

Today 6th of August 2020, a Thursday.

At the starting today I thought it was going to rain a lot. Even though it did not rain much, the surrounding was dark all the day.
I think it was near 8 🕗 when I get up. After my shower I went to my home garden. At a corner of our garden there is a place for my pupies. Their home was built a long time ago. According to my memory it was an year ago now. It was built for a pupy we had before. These pupies we brought recently. Now this place was given to them. When I got there they were still asleep. I think it is just because of this cold in the morning.

As they are still kids, they drink only milk. So I made some.milk and broight it to them. They came asleep and started to drink. Let them drink and I am ready for breakfast. I had rice with dhal curry, brinjal curry and dried fish.

As tomorrow is the birthday of one of my best friend, I got a gift for her. After I finished my breakfast I took sometime to wrap her gift. The gift is something like jwellery container. As she is more fashionable, I am sure she will like it.

Today suddenly I had to go to the town to buy some goods but it was almost 12 then 🕛. So I thought of going for that after lunch.

It was around 1 🕐 when I had lunch today. After that I spent time while watching the TV. As yesterday was the election day, today all the channels went about releasing voting results. Previously election results were used to release within a day. But this time due to COVID-19 it took two days.

Around 3 pm 🕒 I with my brother left to town. It just took 5 minutes. I wanted to buy margarine, eggs, icing suger, vanilla essence, chocolate power and biscuits to make a cake for my boyfriend.

Before entering the place we washed our hands and the security officer at the enterance checked our body temperature. Then we entered and selected our items. Apart from mine, my brother also wanted some . So all together we handed them to the cashier and left after paying bill. It took half an hour fo us.

Then we came back to the home and had a shower. When I came back from the washroom mother had already made tea for us☕. My father had brought some shorteats. So we drank tea while having them 😋. Today all our family members were at home. Like such evenings we used to have tea in the garden where the cemet benches are arranged.

Father had brought bread from the town too. So tonight we had bread with fish curry and pol sambol. Pol sambol is a famous Sri Lankan dish made with grated coconut, lime, salt, red chillies and maldive fish. It has a combination of flavours like spicy and sour.

I had my dinner while watching TV. Voting results are the mainstay of today's channels.

After dinner I took some time to complete my diary today.
