THE DIARY GAME : 02/08/2020 : MY 2nd DIARY ENTRY

Today in the morning I opened my eyes to the sound of the rain. But I was on my bed sometime by listening to the rain patter on the roof. I love that feeling. Well, I got up at 7.00 AM exactly. I normally checked my phone right after opening my eyes but today my phone was power off due to low battery. So just after waking up I put my phone into charge. Then I sipped my morning tea while watching the rainfall.

So today I have to submit an assignment of my online course. Today is the due date for it. So after having tea I opened my laptop and ready to do it. After spending nearly an hour I could to submit it.

It was stopped raining. So I Swept the outdoor surface by ekle broom and clean the home garden. I saw something amazing in the backyard. There was a spiderweb sparkling in the sunlight. It was truly beautiful. So I took a snapshot of it. As well as there was a pumpkin has grown in the home garden. Actually it was the first grown pumpkin in our garden. Normally they need special conditions and grow in specific areas but rarely they grow in another areas also.

After that I had a wash and ready to take my breakfast. My mother had prepared a delicious pol sambol to eat bread. Pol sambol is a traditional Sri Lankan dish made from coconut, dried whole chillies, lime juice, salt and Maldive fish.

After having breakfast I spent some time with my phone. I log into my Steemit and checked for notifications. Because I posted my very first diary entry yesterday. I spent some time scrolling through my newsfeed and watching some videos.

I helped mother to prepare lunch and some other works. At about 1 pm I had my lunch. It was rice and curry same as usual. My stomach was full. So I took a rest for a while.

I have to complete my undergraduate research proposal in this semester. So I am continuing it these days under the supervision of my research supervisor. I started to do it from where I left off last day and worked for two hours. Then I watched an entertaining program on TV. After that I had a wash. I plucked flowers from our home garden and readied to worship Lord Buddha.

I had a zoom meeting at 6 pm and which was held to discuss about our end semester exams on English module. Then I watched my weekend reality program on TV. I had my dinner while watching TV. Before go to the bed I was here to write my diary post. It is started raining now. I think I will be able to get more comfortable sleep tonight with the rain.

That's the way my day went and that was just for today. Bye for now!
