Wait a minute before thinking that I've gone crazy. What you have just read has meaning, it is not some words came out of a madman. Let's dive into the world of Christopher Nolan and you will soon understand why I have said that.

HEAVY SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Christopher Nolan enjoys making films that create a lot of discussion. I'm not telling more about Nolan, the director and writer of Tenet, as we've already got review of The Dark Knight, Dunkirk and Interesteller, some of the masterpieces of Christopher Nolan.

Now let's talk about the plot, the movie starts with some great actions and we see that the protagonist, main character of this movie attempts to suicide rather than opening his mouth. This confuses the audiences, but soon we come to know that the suicide pill was fake.
Thus, the protagonist proves to be reliable. Then he was assigned with a mission, where he was told that he has to stop World War III. But he was not given enough information, whatever information he gets is just a word, "Tenet".

To know more about his mission, he goes to a scientist named Laura. Here is where the thriller begins. The protagonist finds some things which is not normal, OK , not only abnormal, the whole is reversed. Lets explain.

The scientist shows the protagonist a pistol, which is inverted. With this pistol, when you pull the trigger, you will not shoot the bullet instead you will catch it. Getting confused? To easily explain, we know that the time and incident both goes with in the same direction. But here the time is going forward but the incident is going backward. This means when you pull the trigger of pistol, the bullet goes to the pistol from the wall. So they calls the pistol inverted.
Examples = If Steemit becomes inverted, I get the payout first, then I publish the post. If this post gets inverted, I thank you first and then I do the review. (Now read the heading backwards, from right to left).

With the movie progressing, the protagonist learn that a scientist of future invented machine named Algorithm which can reduce the entropy of anything and thus inverts things. But the scientist understood that it may destroy the world, so he/she hid the machine in past by breaking it into 9 cubes and putting those in 9 different places of the world. But as the future generationb human wants to reduce the entropy of the Earth, they assigns a man named "Sator" to find the pieces and putting those in a place so that people of futures can find it.

So, the protagonist tries to stop Sator from putting those pieces in the location and to do so he gets support from Kat and Neil. Kat is the wife of Sator and Neil was initially introduced as CIA but later revealed to be a member of Tenet. Soon, he also learns that a human can also be inverted where time will go backwards and incident will go forward.

Overall Review

I liked the movie but it is not my favorite one. Many critics criticized the movie for being "Too complex to understand". Some said that it is the worst movie of Christopher Nolan. But I don't think so. But it is true that the movie is so complex and and I had to watch explanations from youtube to understand it. But still I don't understand the timeline fully. If you watched "Dark" webseries and liked it, it is a movie for you. You will see the time from different aspects. So, of course, it will eat your brain up more than Dark. Even it was so hard for me to write the review of this movie and I don't know if I'm successful or not.

Some Fun Facts

☆ In the movie, the Tenet team used temporal pincer movement. Generally pincer movement means the strategy of surrounding the enemy and it is a famous strategy in wars.

The Pincer Movementimage source

But in the "Tenet" movie, temporal pincer movement meant enveloping the enemy by time. A team normally fights with enemy and another team goes to the future and fights back in reverse time.

☆ The cast in the movie had to act backwards.

☆ Christopher Nolan thought abouth this movie for almost 20 years.

☆ Tenet aspires to be as scientifically correct as possible

☆ Spell the movie title backwards.

The Sator Square is a two-dimensional word square with a Latin palindrome of five words. You can make this square with the names of two characters of the movie, Sator and Arepo, the title of the movie "Tenet", movie opening place Opera and the freeport firm of the movie named Rotas

Thanks Again

Don’t try to understand it. Feel it
