Christopher Nolan's essentially bloodless but deeply damaged war epic is a great visual illustration on his best film an epic scale. Christopher Nolan’s war epic drama “Dunkirk” is another masterpiece like the other feathers in his cap. The audience has seen many war dramas, some of which are considered to be the best, such as "Personal Rining", "Full Metal Jacket", "Platoon", "Thin Red Line", "Fury". In contrast, Nolan's masterpiece of war takes you completely into the traumatic history of World War II. Soldiers can feel pain, anguish, trauma, mourning battles when they return home. Mind blowing VFX, cinematography, editing, Hans Zimmer's original score will keep you stuck in your seat throughout the movie. Zimmer's score in particular is so strong that as the theater begins to vibrate you can feel powerful musical vibes around you that immerse you in the trauma of war. The special mention of Nolan's direction is that he always does nothing less than perfection, as we have seen, the intercenter, the beginning, the dark night, the dark knights direction, the script, the screenplay never loses the identity of any great filmmaker.

Especially for WW2 as a huge history buff I take any history film seriously and based on Dunkirk, it is probably the best historian if not the best historian. Christopher Nolan does a fantastic job of removing the space to the scene and adding to the excitement throughout the film. You feel sympathy for the characters even though some people are losing their minds when I first heard that these stupas drowned my spine sent a chill like a lot of Allied soldiers and the armored vehicle during the war managed to escape with despair in the eyes of the men. Music, editing, cinematography, cast performances all make the film a lifelong experience. For a film that puts less emphasis on its characters but has great acting that stands out Harry Styles, Fiona Whitehead and commands equal respect.

Along with Dunkirk, Nolan has raised the bar as a filmmaker with his own story, themes, his own approach to filmmaking, and storytelling. Just like his other films, Nolan continues to skillfully deliver the signature of his vague ending. Although we're leaving the movie with the soldiers in the house, we all know the real fight is about to begin and it's just the beginning. The music for the final title of the movie begins with a feeling of joy and exhilaration and ends with a strange note about the impending invasion and the beginning of World War II.

This brilliantly directed film is told chronologically from 3 perspectives. It handles the narration nicely and the non-linear story does not at all take you away from the intensity of the events that take place on the screen which does not stop at the last scene from 00:00. Hans Zimmer probably gives one of the most suitable scores for the fight. Sometimes only a note is played then the sound of a heartbeat and a ticking clock while at other times a huge orchestra explains what is going on the screen. The movie brilliantly captures the feelings of every soldier on the beach in front of the audience. Confusion, unrest and fear. The cinematography was breathtaking and I feel anxious throughout most of the run time. There’s no lead in this film and I can’t really say which one is stuck for a brilliant performance because it wasn’t needed and I’ll explain why.

The biggest criticism I’ve heard of Dunkirk so far is that the characters lack depth and we weren’t given anything to invest in them. I think Nolan tried (successfully) to take care of every man on the beach. To stay in the story he needed some of the main characters so that we could see the events unfold from the direct perspective of the soldiers. Usually in war films (I’ll use private Ryan for example to save) the plot revolves around some soldiers (e.g. CPT. Miller and Ryan) staying in battle and doing things in battle but it’s still not like their battle. In my opinion Dunkirk is the story of Dunkirk. Not Harry Style or Tom Hardy, but Dunkirk. What one of the “main characters” felt, every other soldier felt.

Nolan relied more on filmmaking techniques to tell the story than on dialogue, and this may be a problem for some people due to the lack of character depth, but in reality such a horrific event would not "develop" for anyone as a character but an event where men Just wanted to survive, and Nolan showed it perfectly. Ome Magt says there is a ‘lack of emotion’ in the film, I believe it is a completely wrong statement. What people failed to see was that there was actually no emotion on that beach other than fear and confusion and I can safely say that Nolan and Zimmer and DP all successfully gave us that feeling.

My ears are still ringing from this, because I haven’t heard it so well since it ended Cine cinematography, sound, composition and direction are at a very surprising level. Han Zimmer's score is still his best work. Being both extraordinary and hunting keeps me cold at times. With all the exciting parts through Hans ’score weighing these difficult moments in the movie, it’s no surprise. And it's just the sound of a ticket clock. After that I got new respect for Harry Styles. Because he actually performed quite well. It’s very impressive because he’s in the first role and it’s spent a lot more time than I expected. The same thing with Fienne Whitehead, who played another young slider character is also great. The rest of the cast: Tom Hardy, Mark Rylans, Kenneth Branagh and Celian Murphy were all horrible. Not a poor performance in the movie.

Now people have been complaining about the lack of information with these characters or any real original character to feel for them. I don’t really think these people understand that it’s not the core theme of the film. You can understand these characters only by actions and decisions. These are all based on how they behave in the situation. No cornice or clich dialog. This visual story tells it best. They have no time for the story behind them or how to get their wives and children back home. Time is ticking, the enemy is approaching, and you are stuck with a complete stranger in a foreign land. There are no heroes or opponents in the film. You will never see Germans in person, only bombers. This makes the presence even more frightening and exciting every time another attack occurs.

Christopher Nolan once again shows why he is an important event in the film. His work is experimental, his screenplay more action than words. The class that this guy brought movies to is not comparable to any other filmmakers in recent times. I didn’t know any film could have such an experience. I can safely say that you have never seen a picture like Dunkirk before. Well done, Nolan. This is actually a masterpiece.

If you are not watched it yet, you should watch this masterpiece.
