Steemit Engagement Challenge S4-W4 | Review of My City Development

I'm very happy to still be able to participate in a very interesting contest which is the last week with the theme;

Economics is something that is very synonymous with growth and development. The higher the economy of a sector, the more prosperous the life is. Now let's look at the regional economy, regional economic growth will be faster if there is potential in the form of natural and human resources. Because these two great potentials are interrelated because the ecosystem of an area will not succeed or die if only one of the potentials is increased.

I live in North Aceh, in the countryside to be exact in Matang Munyeu. North Aceh region is one of Aceh's regions which is full of potentials that are able to generate regional economy so that development and public service sectors and their environment have comparative and competitive advantages. These cities in North Aceh are always improving and still need to be developed such as the tourism sector, agriculture, traditional markets, the establishment of new industrial factories, or the city government's program to create new jobs. Because these sectors really contribute in improving the regional economy.

In the city of Lhokseumawe, the selection of tourism ambassadors is always held every year, this is a form of support for the tourism sector. The government realizes that this is one of the great potentials to improve the city's economy. One of the most visited tourist spots throughout the year is the beach and a place that provides rides such as water parks.

Waterboom is not only a place for water baths, but also a resort that is almost every day filled with visitors from various regions and on holidays some come from outside the area. By making it a tourist destination, it creates large jobs for the people such as parking attendants, buoy rental workers, restaurants, other food sellers, and this will make the city's economy even more increased with applicable taxes.

The most visited tourist spot in my city is the Islamic Center. This building is an iconic city of Lhokseumawe and is the grandest mosque in North Aceh. This mosque is located in a strategic place in the city center, precisely on Jalan T. Hamzah Bendahara Simpang Empat Lhokseumawe. Everyone will be amazed to see its splendor which is dominated by gold and white colors. Everyone who visits the city of Lhokseumawe will definitely visit here. This really beautifies the order of the city to be more enchanting. The government is still fixing this mosque so that it has more functions without destroying its main function, so that currently there are severaleducational institutions that also operate in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Agriculture is a very important sector for the economic growth of a region. Where I live is one of the big agricultural sectors. And 85% of the people in my village work as rice farmers, 10% do gardening and only 5% work in offices or government and gardening, and almost every side of the road right and left will be greeted with vast expanses of rice fields and fields. With the agricultural sector, people's lives become more secure, people can work on their respective lands and the supply of basic goods to all regions will also be stable so that the government does not need to bring in staples from outside the region which will definitely cost more and this will suffocate the people. . There are several warehouses for storing rice and even warehouses for areca nut, palm and cocoa beans, it is not impossible that the government will also open other warehouses to prevent production shortages, from the people to the people.

It is undeniable that traditional markets have been able to improve the economy of the surrounding community. There are several reasons and why people shop at traditional markets, namely:
The price is cheaper, You can bargain, You can choose goods and ask the merchant for the quality of the goods, There are discounts if you buy a lot of goods, The friendliness of the merchants that will allow the exchange of damaged goods after purchase, The goods sold in Traditional Retail are more complete, and more economical.

Simpang Rangkaya is an example of a traditional market in my city. This traditional market has given a lot of influence on the development of an area and the growth of SMEs as well as opening up employment opportunities for many people so that people will focus on the profitable buying and selling process and the uniqueness of the traditional market has been able to hypnotize many people to shop here. that ;
If you want to see a developed area, then look at the market.

As I have written, the Traditional Retail View emphasizes and simplifies its management by focusing on consumer wants and meeting consumer needs. Currently the government is also fixing this traditional market so that it does not disturb the environment by providing neat stalls and taking rent for the management of the place. However, there is a serious problem, namely the garbage that is still scattered in the fish market, this is still being developed so that the environment also remains clean.

The office is a place where all dedication is devoted, and the office has always been a second home for many people. And this is the North Aceh Regent's office which is located on Jalan Banda Aceh-Medan Km 295 Landing-Lhoksukon, previously on Jalan T Hamzah Bendahara, Lhokseumawe City. Opened on 03 December 2020 with 4 floors. It began to be used as the Office of the Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD), until it was used as the workspace of the regent/deputy regent, then the Regional Secretary, and his assistants and used as the Office of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda). The government works, develops, improves, regulates and manages all data, and government systems here.

Formerly Kantor The Bupati of Aceh Utara is in the city of Lhokseumawe and just looks like a house with the other offices being separated. Over time, improvements are continuously being made to make it look better and the regent's office also makes a perfect government where a city will be recognized and seen as beautiful, besides that people can also focus what they want to manage in only one place, this is very beneficial for many party.

In addition to those mentioned above, there are several services that also greatly affect the regional economy as well as improve community welfare and create employment opportunities, such as;

(Sports Facility)

I believe that the government is always trying to improve the regional economy so that people's lives are more prosperous and can minimize the existing unemployment rate. Due to the increasing number of unemployed, the crime rate will also increase which will harm many parties, including the government itself. Therefore, we need to take responsibility for the progress of the regional economy and create a sense of security and comfort, so that the government can also provide our rights and obligations properly.
