Architectural Photography - Week 54 - Imaginary stability.
Today I decided to work on an architectural photograph which I called "Imaginary stability".
We can see a Catholic cathedral made in the Gothic style in fact it is a reduced copy of Notre Dame de Paris which adorns one of the central streets of our city.
The building looks fundamental, although it has lost its spire that adorned it in the first years after construction.
But it is not for nothing that I mentioned imaginary stability.
The architect who designed this building thought about unshakable stability, but time made its own adjustments and with the change of power the purpose of this building changed in the following order: a Catholic church, a communist club, an organ hall where not only Christian music was performed, the building is in reconstruction mode and there is a complete lack of understanding of its future purpose and attempts to turn it into a Catholic church again.
The stability of this building is no more stable than the surface of the water in the puddle where I saw the reflection of the building and took this photo.
