Indians(In India) devise technique of "Naturally Mining Silver Using Rice" - yes rice you eat with curry
A Indian rice variety known as Garib-sal is capable of collecting 17 milligrams of silver per kilogram of the plant’s weight. Botanists and farmers have known for centuries that plants/vegetables absorb nutrients and other substances such as silver from the soil, but this particular rice is a much more powerful "silver miner" with the ability to accumulate silver about 100 times more silver than any other rice.
Commentary:
Whats awesome about this, is you not only can extract silver from the rice plant, the rice itself is 100% edible after the process.

great post! im recharging my vote but will call @originalworks .ive been wondering about things like this for a while. for example the soil is full of microscopic particles of gold and silver- carrots are good at absorbing gold from the soil, i wonder how this technology will work :)
