A Closer Look At Glyphosate

in #health7 years ago

The importance of the pervasive herbicide, glyphosate, is still
becoming clear. Glyphosate was originally used as a broad
spectrum chelator, it was used for industrial descaling, and is
very good at the task. It eventually was repurposed as an
antibiotic, and kills some beneficial intestinal flora in the
amounts of parts per billion.

It then became used as a herbicide. A very effective herbicide.
A bacteria was found that was resistant to glyphosate. The
glyphosate resistance gene was used, along with who knows
what else, to genetically modify the desired crop plants, for
sale. Last I checked the GMOs that it is use on are corn, soy,
canola, sugar beets, cotton, and alfalfa. There are other GMOs,
but these are the glyphosate resistant ones.

Glyphosate is also being used to 'burn' crops that are not
glyphosate resistant. This 'enhanced ripening' is used to describe
the practice of spraying nonresistant crops, just before harvest to
get the plant to hurry up and dump the rest of their energy into the
seed before the plant is completely dead. This, unfortunately causes
the plant to also concentrate glyphosate in the edible part of the
crop, as it dies. The crops harvested this way are, wheat, sugar
cane, barley, rye, sorghum, oats, beans, lentils, peanuts, , and
non-GMO canola. If I left anything out, let me know so I can add it to
the lists.

I do have to wonder, if humans are so resistant to glyphosate, why
wasn't the human resistance used. Is it because we are not
entirely resistant, or the ethical issue of using human genes in
modification of plants, that we are going to eat?

Is the picture becoming clear? Glyphosate binds preferentially
to many elements used in metabolic function, killing anything
that comes into contact with it. This is with the exception of, at
least some, mammals, within the two month test period set up
by Monsanto. Never mind the unauthorized, long term studies
that grew tumors the size of squash balls, on rats, and yes, the
study is valid. How many PhDs can moneyed interests yell
'debunk' in the general direction of, and still by taken seriously?

Monsanto set the test criteria, they did the testing, they will sue if
anyone uses their product for testing not approved by them. It's
declared safe, by the company, and by the former employees of
the company, that work for the government agencies, that
regulate the use of the chemical, and you're not allowed to look
for yourself and see that it is. It's proprietary you understand. So,
shut up, eat up, and don't ask any inconvenient questions.

So, finally now that Monsanto has walked us all out into the woods,
with us carrying our own shovel and bag of lime, now that
glyphosate has begun to demonstrate it's failure in slow motion,
yet spectacular fashion, we are set for the next onslaught of disease
inducing death sprayed on our food, right out in public for all to see.
If we're going to say 'no' we'd better get to it, before we no longer
have the ability.

I would have left the paleo tag out, but for the fact that 'grass fed'
cattle can be fed GMO round up ready alfalfa, which contains
glyphosate.

Thanks very much for linking me here!

A couple years ago I heard from an acquaintance from Argentina that Monsanto had been growing GMO soybeans there, and that they had contaminated neighboring crops with their crops pollen, causing it to produce GMO seed.

As the neighboring farmers didn't have legal right to grow Monsanto's proprietary strain, they sued, and won. Monsanto was said to have taken over many farms there using that tactic.

I'm pretty much convinced at this point that Monsanto is just another way to spell Satan.

Thanks!

Funny how all the bees started dying when GMO crops were being implemented nationwide.

Many things began to go south in the last thirty years.

hah base on he last video that fuck ups the enzimes so you get malnourished because that makes the elements unavailable, so you shit more eat more but you get less quality also thanks for mentioning the speed :D time to information highway :D
haha watching in x2 with subtitles is fun, Glyphosate gets named rifles eat :D
hhahaha history in the making, welll it's not 56 so it can't be 56 it's 54 pounds :D

pffffffff we are sugar :D no minerals :D

so sad where we have gotten ourselves into, oh it's easily solved by eating shit thank god :) who according to the subtitles is the gut that gives us serutonin by the vagus nerve

so we are 90% bacteria (immune, circulatory, digestion )

CYP enzimes prohibit, inflamatory and degenrative diseases

liver and kidneys

well it was very informative, thank you, I'd like to repeat what he said, There are no reoundup ready foods, there is no need for labeling.

Please grow your crops naturally and don't fall for the tricks of the various industries and markets. Everyone wants a piece of you so please take care of yourself, learn and respect what you have and what is given to you freely. That being the environment and all the various foods. It's very saddening to e to walk in a store and see 500 varieties of the same thing and 5 fruits & vegetables, i should be the other way around. But then people would have to work for their food and not sit for it, being made on such a astronomical scale.

Agreed. Thank you for you thoughts.

Sooo important to rid ourselves of this stuff and the companies that make it

Agreed. Thank you for your comment.

good luck with that :D

@lifeworship
I so appreciate your bringing this out in the open for people to see. It's terrible what is happening but awareness is the first step in the right direction!

Thank you, after being heavily exposed in the early 1990's, and not even being aware that I was eating a round up heavy diet after that, finally almost destroyed my life. I think a lot of new food allergies, gluten among them, can be attributed, in part, to the increasing use of glyphosate.

You're welcome. I'm sorry that you had to experience all of that but glad that you have found a new way of eating that has contributed to your better health and well being! :)

If it hadn't happened, I wouldn't have learned so much about diet and nutrition. I also wouldn't have learned so much about cancer. Once I got past the fear, it turned out to be a breeze. Cancer is a big tool of the fear porn pushers, to make money. It turns out cancer isn't even a disease, it's a symptom. I think the medical, pharma, insurance, regulatory industrial complex wants us to believe that health is this big complicated thing that only they can handle. It's not only simple, it gets to be yummy too. Actual food tastes good compared to the industrial products that are fed to us under the guise of nutrition and health.

Sounds like it may have been a blessing in disguise, in the long run.
The pathway to health is much less complicated than big pharma would have us believe! I agree with what you've said. Keep up the good work as you gain new insights!

I find it is mostly a blessing for me. I look around and see a world full of people who I haven't been able to reach. The only people who seem to listen are those who already know. There is so much unnecessary suffering in the false name of "the common good".

Keep doing what you're doing because it will make a positive impact on those who choose to listen. God bless you!

Onward and upward.

true that, :) let's go sign a petition and go protest :| scream we want whatever, we need help, we need :|

health is easy, stop destroying it :D you were born healthy, the environment was healthy 200 years ago, then we started treating it as a machine. Before that it was in our idea, but we never had the capacity to act like rulers over the earth, only romans for a little while could order plantations over continents and ten the britts, but still they had no planes and machines to spray and engineer such ridiculous "advancements" well we are only killing ourselves so it's no big deal :"|

@j3dy
Very profound statement! It's so unfortunate what has happened in that respect. I think we just have to take individual responsibility and do what we can and that's all we can do.

++ https://steemit.com/health/@j3dy/today-i-found-the-truth-about-cancer-also-on-scope-happy-mother-s-day-and-an-introduction-to-sunday-runs-hidden-gems-throughout on the topic of cancer I haven't watched the whole series but it's too large. 12 parts so ~15 hours can't imagine what it took to film it :D

It's a pretty good series. More and more of this kind of information is becoming available to those who doubt the murderous money making monsters.

The shills on the internet are hilarious, they go mute when you bring up that Monsanto cafeteria is all organic.

I'm beginning to think that those who want to eat the stuff should, as long as I'm left out of it.

I'm all for personal responsibility and nothing would make it easier than labeling it.

Agreed.

It's not labeled because they aren't proud of the work and it's product and we live in a plastic world, everything is plastic even our food. Codex Alimentarius, a spin off "Give me control over a countries money and I care not who makes the laws".

Agenda 2030 for the diet.

pure processed shit? where are those labels :D

The counter argument is this:

Where do we stop? Do we include the history of the mineral, where they came down from in the creation of the earth, the, history of the surface, and the details of numerous interactions and processes, and the why and how for every detail?

Well in a sense why not?
If you take pride in what you do, if you have integrity and values that reflect that, if you care about helping and sharing and teaching, if you TAKE PRIDE in what you do, how you do it and why you do it, then why not include it all?

Or just sell the label..
And therefore only care about keeping the label dissociated with what's in the product, in the gray zone where corn products aren't gm, and they don't make up the majority of ingredients of most processed food products: pure processed shit.

The red herring is the arguments that selective breeding and genetic modification is the same thing, and it goes quiet every time at the sound of "gene splicing gun is selective breeding?". The modified genes aren't by themselves that big of an issue, the issue is how we aren't supposed to ingest this, so why are we loading up our foods with it?

The fact is even with a hearing and people's heads rolling, nothing could repair what was done and keeps happening. The question remains how much more time until everyone rolls their eyes at the tv like in V for Vendetta.

There has been added a further layer of deception added to the argument with the new CRISPR technique. It is more precise than random collisions of DNA laden golden BBs, but is still being used with the same ignorance of the function of each part in context. It's not only the parts that express, but also the order. If you take apart a tape measure and cut out foot number 8, reassemble it. Eventually it will be used to measure something that is over 9 feet long. If the measurement is not noticed and rectified, then the whole system will break down. Similar errors can be entered by switching numbers, adding extra of duplicates. It could get very exciting, probably not pleasant though.

oooh so dna programming. Sad with how good our programmers are we need a lot of test subjects :| heeey we have those billions lying around already. Load them up :) people thinking life is a game and you can edit the code :|

I just noticed this morning that Lowes has a half page add pushing roundup.

They often do, especially around the growing months.

Home grown is best, if you have space that is.. If not support a friend or neighbours home grown patch.

Thank you for sharing. Im very vocal vs GMO, i live just a city next to Monsanto, i have friends there and when i meet some of them we fet to a debate! And im a nurse, but a firm believer let food be thy medicine! I like your post and want to see more! Following. Hope you follow me too!

Followed.

I may have a few more posts in my blog that might interest you.

The GMO story is just so blatant a deception. Trying to conflate the GMO processes with hybridization of the sort present in nature is transparent at best. They should have worked harder on their story, if they wanted me to believe it.

They wont cover any of that shit! The lies and deception are to great. We just have to unite. I hope a lot of people specially american stand up by the millions. Before its too late. Not to mention chemtrails! Its as iff they are terraforming our beautiful planet!
