Hello Steemitsonians, today, I continue on this Prostate Care Diet for Today blog looking at food and diets that can significantly help improve, prostate health. Like I have always said, this is not for men only, it is also for women who want to do more to help their spouses have their prostate situation under control. I have been reading quite a bit on this, particularly the book "Healthy Eating: The Prostate Care Cookbook" and my findings will be posted on this blog.

The prostate is that part of every man that needs proper monitoring to prevent the development of prostate cancer. The lower the Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) level in the blood, the better for the health of the prostate. Although there isn't a specific normal or abnormal level of PSA in the blood, but most doctors have in the past considered PSA levels of 4.0 ng/mL and lower as being normal. Proper care is needed to maintain these levels.

Winter Fruit Salad

Ingredients for four (4) people

  • 200 grams of of dried peaches
  • 200 grams of prunes
  • 200 grams apricots
  • 2 cooking appleas, peeled and sliced
  • 2 green tea bags

Preparation

Step 1

Place all these ingredients in a pan and add water, barely enough to cover the fruits.

Step 2

Now, place on medium heat and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

Once done, remove the heat and allow to cool down. Now remove the tea bags and serve.

You can serve soya ice cream for an even more excellent taste.

Now enjoy!
