MY FASTING JOURNEY, DAY 5: Weight: 234 Body fat %: 31 Diagnosis: Fat Boy. My body has fully embraced the fast and weight loss has begun. Also, a story on poop

in #health7 years ago (edited)

Day 5 of my fasting journey is quickly coming to a close. Mental clarity is setting in and bursts of energy are upon me. Small segments of hunger show up here and there, but they are waning.

Feel free to resteem!

The first massive weight drop has begun. I suspect this will last for about two to five days. Also, my energy shot through the roof today. Besides working at a refinery in Beaumont, Texas today; I performed a full weight workout followed by a solid 30 minute stretching session and I feel like I've only begun!

The other is that my quick pooping is gone. That was yesterday. Today I saw something that I'd never seen. It wasn't poop, and it didn't smell. What was coming out of me was the beginnings of Mucoid Plaque. The term, mucoid plaque, is a catch all to describe anything from drugs to food that lines the walls of our intestines and gets stuck (or hangs out because it likes it!). Many doctors disagree on what the name should be, but most agree that things get stuck up there and need to be removed.

It's why many people have a colonoscopy.

Mine began today. It was very dark in color and had no odor.

Depending on which website you go to, we hold anywhere from 4 to 12 meals inside of our bodies at a time, and this doesn't include the fat that is sitting on our bodies. Depending on how fat you are, you could have over 100 meals waiting to be burned off.
