PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder [Dabbing with a Mage episode 149]
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a severe mental disorder where the trauma survivor suffers from symptoms of severe discomfort, irritability, aggression, trouble sleeping, anxiety, depersonalization, and more after the event has occurred. There is C-PTSD and A-PTSD, chronic and acute, respectively. PTSD can be horribly debilitating to an individual, and healing can seem impossible. Join me in today's episode as I discuss more in detail about PTSD and living with C-PTSD.

I could only watch the beginning of this video and then for some reason it failed to load. I never understood much about PTSD until recently when I read the body keeps the score which I found fascinating unexplained a lot about how trauma affects the brain and is held in the body.
Hmm, odd - perhaps try through youtube?
PTSD is wild. There are massage therapists that work with releasing stored traumas from the muscles. The body talk practioners are mind boggling though. Amazing how some people are so in tune with vibrations.
I love subtle body work.. its extraordinary. We are taught to sense with eyes and ears but some of the most intense Sensations come from deep within our body. Also we have to sense.. where are kidneys and adrenals ? Where are our lungs and what happens to the shape Within when our breath catches because where in fight or flight mode ? And what happens when we are so stressed that we can't eat what goes on in our gut and vagus nerve ? I think once we start tapping into those sensations and understandings we can really begin to heal ourselves. There's lots of strategies to do so but it takes a lot of mindfulness and intelligence which we don't always have access to when we are ill.... @riverflows
