Fire and Water, at the End of a Relaxing Afternoon ... Chiang Mai – GoldenHour Photography

While I was lounging poolside at the end of a relaxing afternoon, I watched in awe as this goldenhour scene developed.

Stunning palette

This is a classic sunset shot comprising a palette of stunning colors – with the blazing light of the sun about to dip below the horizon, the wispy clouds ranging from black and gray to fiery orange and red, and the deep blue sky, all framed by black silhouettes.

Celestial art

As I came out of the sauna to the pool area, the evening sky exhibited some definite “artistic promise,” so I kept my camera available. After a few moments, I snapped this shot.    

Then, I watched as darkness erased the remaining color from the sky.   Location – Chiang Mai, on Google Maps
