California Sunsets #72 ~ Reflections

The gravitational pull of the Moon and Sun are one of the key forces that creates extreme high and low tides. Given the gradual decline of the beaches in Santa Monica (and Venice Beach), the low tides tend to be extreme. Last night’s low tide caused by the full Moon gave some postcard moments.

    Hands down, those clouds littering the sky on your first photo holds a special place in my heart if I have to pick a favorite. Painted in pink, it is not a scent that you are likely to see anytime soon.

    To be fair, those other show off the long lines of light and are spectacular. But, you already knew that.
