Enjoying those remaining summer beach days here in Southern California. Here we are in Ocean Park in Santa Monica, where much of my photos are from. This beach has some remarkable history including where Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek of the Doorsmet, hung out and livedjust a few blocks away in the summer of 1965 before moving to Venice Beach.

You saw the volleyball! I took like 20 clicks before the sun went down. Those guys were not that good. Re Work... that's what mom and everyone else says! I'm working now. You should have come down this weekend.
I know you are a night owl. I need to come down there and put on a VB clinic... maybe meet some birdies ;)
Given your height I suspect they can likely show you how to play. Stick to hockey! Come down sunday

It certainly was! by all means not your typical summer sunset here in southern cali.
Really good timing of your picture, you can see all the colors starting with yellow, red, orange, and violet :)
Thank you. As you know, the window to capture shots like this a not too long. Fortunately I get many chances. Did you notice the volleyball?
Onla after seeing the arrow on one of the comment, but on enlargement it is very obvious and you can recognise hte shape as well as people and bet. That is really a great step in the development of cameras!
It is quite remarkable the technology. Can't imagine trying to take that with a Kodak Instamatic!

He wrote it in the early 1870s.

Yes, sometimes I wished that the earth would not rotate as fast and we human beings would live much more years with a good health and enjoying how the sun makes us happy with its going and coming @armentor
