In the Oedipus complex, it must first break away from the mother and realize its state of lack of a penis. Hence the belief that it is his own deprivation that delivers the delight of the other. This will also create jealousy, disappointment, despair, restraint, fear and depression. But it will also make it much easier for a girl to fancy, admire and idealize the other - easily falling in love, idealizing the man or wanting to escape from his real environment to find some idols - pop stars, actors.

"You'll end it, I'm a woman, why am not a man?" Freud hears and maybe we follow him, I do not have a penis, my inertia, indecision, shyness, my state of dependence, even my body and soul problems depend on that. Very often, Freud says he has found the limit beyond which psychoanalytic treatment can not continue, especially when he has heard from his patients: "Why continue the analysis if you can not give me this?" Here Freud discovers the difficulty, the inability of psychoanalysis to prescribe grieving a desire, whatever it is (grieving always on an object that we have internalized and then lost), it will lead to very important reflections on the work of grief. But it is important to note that this is not about desire but envy. Desire can be satisfied in some way, but jealousy never produces envy and destruction, seeking substitutes that conceal emptiness, frustration, fear. The purpose of psychoanalysis will not be to continue this game, which will, to some extent, always return to the same, and there will be no solution, but to replace that envy with the authentic desire of self-realization. Recognizing itself in its sexual destiny for a woman means first to accept it, to acknowledge it (-) not as a blemish, as a source of inferiority, but as an opening that avoids the closure last meaning (while the man can in in the end, at best, just to get down to what it does not have), beyond the phallic. This also helps us to understand one of the most difficult things that the satisfaction of desire is not the fruit of only external forces is not the fruit of objective reality, but of our ability to want something, to transform our inner psychic and bodily relationships.

In this case, it should be emphasized that it is not a penis that is biological, but also a cultural one, related to the masculine dominance of society, an objective situation. But it should also be realized that the lack of a penis and the resulting envy of the penis is not a shameful thing, it is not a cause of inferiority, it is not a disease, it is just a special condition of the still unsatisfied desire, always connected with a symbolic, idealized penis that psychoanalysis calls a phallus, and because there is a lack and a corresponding degradation of one's own self. Therefore, consideration should be given to the fact that the meeting with the other sex is different in both sexes. In the boy, this encounter is primarily a source of tension, sexual arousal, and awareness of all the sensations and processes associated with his own member with his sex. In the case of the girl, this encounter with the other sex generates rather frustration, a sense of lack, of dissatisfaction, of envy - because unconsciously it is thought that without the phallus can not have a full life of love, there can be no real realization of the woman . The fact is that the "envy to the penis", expressed as I said most banally with the phrase: "Hey, to be a boy" is so prevalent among women, even today in times of emancipation and feminism, at the time of artificial insemination and fantasies of cloning, at a time when the man's figure, to put it mildly, starts to pale. The fact is that today women are willing to give up their activities, their creative abilities, their own means of self-expression. It is a fact that the institution of gender inequality still exists, at least in Bulgaria. But it is also a fact that she is so stubborn because she has to solve some real problem among people. It is no wonder that man nowadays willingly becomes an accomplice to the woman in her problematic identification with her own gender because it nourishes his narcissism; he is fully satisfied emotionally and culturally to be raised in the sexual, anthropological, social and political principle of supremacy in human culture.
