This is great! Thank you @goldendawne for recommending.

I have a lot of drawing to do. My "special" hidden garden is ready. Will a video and some pics do? Or need to draw it up? There is still time :)

No drawn layout is required for entry, a video and pics will do. Which ever medium you feel best relays the information :)

this is cool and hopefully will sufficiently motivate me to draw that map i keep needing to draw :)

I know, right?
I still haven't drawn my garden map for this year...

That is a good side effect that I have noticed with Steemit use - It has gotten me to bring many projects to completion - for the sake of a post - that might not otherwise have been completed :)

Ha aint that the truth! Plus start new ones!!!

Very true... some motivator it is this Steemit thang!

Don't think I'll have time this year... apart from late bloomong tomatoes we have no plan what so ever yet!

I figured it was good timing for this contest (for north of the equator at least :) - Just built that garden terrace and was asking my wife what veggies she wanted to see in there. I pretty much know where everything is going, but I have to buckle down and figure out the precise details :)

I already posted all 3 of my garden plans a couple weeks ago. :((

If it's growing in nicely, then maybe next week before the contest ends you can do a photo or video update tour post of the garden, and have links to your previous garden layout posts if you like. With the contest I'm not necessarily looking for garden layouts mapped out on paper or anything too technical, more of a general idea of where the plants are and if there in the specific spots for a reason :)

Ok, then maybe I can do this! I was going to do the New Herb garden...

That's a nice looking pineapple @ardiardi2525 - unfortunately, for this contest we are looking for gardens with more than 1 type of plant, and maybe some reasons why the plants are planted in their multiple locations. Thanks for entering, please feel free to submit another contest entry that has something to do with the contest. I don't have a picture, but we have four gardens. First is a large, fenced in circular "herb garden" with a sprinkler head 4 feet high in the middle. Here I have peppers (2 kinds), rosemary, spaghetti and Seminole Indian Squash, lemon grass and luffa. It's fenced in and adjoins our outdoor shower. Second, we have a fruit grove of about 25 trees: plum, peach, fig and persimmon and along side it some fenced in areas with sweet potatoes, melons and Seminole Indian squash. Third, we have about 15 figs all about the property and a single pomegranate. The 4th garden is in my green house (made out of 20 sliding glass doors), and right outside it I have turmeric and sun chokes which die off in the winter so I put them on the south side of areas where I need the shade in the summer. Inside the greenhouse I have cilantro, celery, 3 citrus trees, tomatoes and strawberries. Whew! I think that's it. We establish the gardens all around our 14 acre tree farm along our interior roads and around our chick coops and out door kitchen wherever it's convenient. I'm planting 2 luffa's on the side of my chicken coops just to shade them. I'm probably missing a few plants, but we only plant what we eat, and what grows well for our area (in north Florida). (I may sketch it out and upload it later.)

That sounds like quite the setup - I just started the process of filling the property with eddible perennials - sounds like yours is well on the way, it would be nice to see the layout :) I want to start on a large herb spiral later this summer - with the herbs that like dryer conditions higher up on the spiral.

Great idea... Ill try to do this....!!!

Thanks - I'm looking forward to seeing the various gardens and plans that people have - endless possibilities :)
