I have been looking for something to do that would be fun, bring much-needed laughter and joy to others and me. I wanted to be able to share these stories with everyone on Steemit too. Laughter, of late, is very rare to find.

I started looking for a Sims 4 Challenge that didn't look too hard, would be fun for other people to watch live, or read about later. During my hunt, I kept going back to The Tiny Living Challenge and reading all the rules again and again. This challenge was made years ago so it didn't take into consideration all the new expansions Sims 4 has had. I ended up tweaking the rules a bit and reposting them on the Sims 4 forums under my username #Snookatz.

The sink had sprung a leak for the third time this week. Guilty and Katrina knew it was time to have the talk. No, not that one, the other talk. It was time to grow up and get a bigger house. Tiny living was all fine and dandy when young and free but now with the responsibility of a baby, life was getting out of hand.

Guilty grabbed Katrina's paints and started to make a master floor plan for the house he decided to build for his family. Katrina went off that same day house hunting so they could move right away.

After looking at his finished house plans, Guilty decided he wanted to spend time with his family. He called in a builder he had heard good things about.

Katrina came home and was more than a bit surprised by the white-haired lady that was talking to her husband. All turned out well once they got to know each other. Katrina more than happy to have a brand new house she wasn't going to have to paint.

The builder spent the day with the newest family she would soon make a home for. She wanted to know what they all liked to be able to make a house both would love.

The Builder went right to work on the new house with Guilty's plans in hand.

Day and night the builder made sure everything was just right in the new home she was building. She even added a surprise for the couple in the basement!

Little did they all know poor Engine loved his tiny home. When it was time to move he would not go. Off he ran into the woods nearby. His parents had a heck of a time finding him. Finally, they got him back inside, where it was warm and safe, to explain a few things about life.

They explained as best they could that part of life is growing and taking a leap of faith that the newest journey will also have wonderful surprises in store. Now was the time to let go of the old. Embrace the future and all that it would hold. Engine shook his head as if he agreed to all that was being said while going off to pack up his toys.

The big day had finally arrived. Engine dragged his feet, looked out the back window and started to cry. Little did his parents know he had made friends with two cats.

Katrina looked at Guilty. They both shook their heads, one saying yes but the other said no. Laughter could soon be heard while the whole family went out into the backyard to grab the two cats. Their son was so happy his best friends would be coming along to their newest home.

Letting go of your first home was going to be hard on poor Engine. Lucky for him he would be bringing two tiny bits from his old home along with him.
