Virtual Boer Hangout is today more popular than ever and so i see more and more games appear in this genre. The latest acquisition is Real Farm. This game is similar to genre rain, but it tries to give its own point of view to virtual farm life. I jumped on the tractor and drove a lot of jobs on the fields. That did not happen without a blow or push, but i did.

Your farmers career

In Real Farm, you actually get two choices. The first is free play where you get a pocket of money, material and a piece of land, with the purpose of building a big farm. That concept is found in almost every other game in this genre and therefore no further explanation. Unique for Real Farm, however, is the career mode in which you start at the ladder and progressively grows in your material capacities and, of course, your career as a farmer. Your ultimate goal is to acquire your own farm and have a lot of land to run the most sales.

The start of career mode is very pleasant, because the game takes you a while to explain the different aspects of the gameplay. This means that the first assignments you do, plowing, sowing, harvesting, etc. are all explained and once you've done it, you get a new goal. This new goal is to buy a tractor, but of course you need money. To achieve that, you can travel around the world alongside different farmers to take care of your money.

Many of these farmers offer jobs where you can use their material, so you can get started right away. Later, however, you will get more jobs that require your own material, which will also yield you more. If you have a tractor, that's very handy, but if you do not have the financial capabilities, you can always use material hire. As long as you have money - whether it's a lot or a little - you can always go ahead and that's very nice. But good, back to the career of career mode. Once you have earned enough money, the next step will come to light and that's a good deal of luck.

Up to the first million

The farmer you initially start for is that you take over his farm because he wants to retire. An exceptionally generous offer that you are welcome to accept. But of course, that is not just because it has to be settled. Your new goal is to earn at least 1 million euros, and then the farmer contributes a lot and you can crown yourself as owner of a farm. A beautiful goal, but the game actually takes a bit of a fog. You can earn between 2000 and 15,000 per time and before you reach one million... indeed. That will take a long time.

The career-building structure is quite logical and fun, but the first step is to make the next step to a million very fast. This means that you have to take a lot of tasks to achieve that at all, and i have not yet agreed on the purchase of new material that will restore you to your finances. So it's a bit in imbalance and that's a pity. Now the price for the farm is no more than logical, but it would have been better if there were some intervenings, because between buying a tractor and taking over the farm are no extra goals and so it will be quite easy.

That is, by the way, the only thing i think of in career mode, because the concept of taking care of a freelancer and doing all sorts of business in a variety of different ways works in general and makes fun. In that respect, it is also more fun than all the steps taken to get a crop on one piece of land, because that repetitive gameplay works very quickly. Now it's by definition an aspect that comes with this kind of games, but by a faster change in work at freelance jobs you will not soon get bored.

Plenty of possibilities

Real Farm offers career opportunities a nice alternative to the free play and i am well acquainted with it. This because the assignments differ, there is almost always enough to do and you can easily explore the entire gameplay. The game has a lot of options and possibilities, but nothing is fired on you in a fast-moving, so you can experience the gameplay at its own pace and that's very nice. Nevertheless, the game is an oasis of tranquility and it makes sense to pick up on time and again.

Initially, you are mainly doing tasks for others, but at some point you also get more accountability. For example, you can buy your country, hire workers, keep an eye on crops, manage your finances and sell material. After a long time, you will also be able to perform a management function more than you actually drive on and off the country, which is possible. The gameplay will gradually grow into possibilities and motivates to continue to play, although the gravel to one million euros lasts very long.

Not everything is cake and egg

In terms of gameplay, Real Farm is not the most comprehensive game in the genre, but it offers all basic aspects for a fun and fun farming adventure. I also caught sight of the fact that despite the shortcomings that the game knows, i did another hour to work. That certainly does not mean the mistakes, but it does indicate that there is a lot of fun with the game and that is of course positive. However, i can not conceive of the fact that one year of development has just been too little for the developer.

In the basics everything works fine, but if you look a little further, you soon see that strange things are found in the gameplay and world. A good example is the parking lot of the store where you can buy or rent new material. Whatever you buy, you have to pick it up logically. If you buy a large grain mower that you can confirm in advance, it's quite awkward if that mower is wider than the passage from the parking lot to the road, which is further surrounded by a fence. With some clown you may eventually get out of the parking lot, but practically different.

Also, it is very remarkable that if you ride your pick up, you stand still faster by releasing your gas than using the brake. Or what to think of a job where you have to fertilize a land and forget about the game that you must first load the container with manure. There is no explanation as to how to do that, so you can not complete that job. Furthermore, There is also a fairly big bug in the game with regard to sowing land.

If you are plowing, owning or harvesting the land, regardless of size, then 90 to 95% of the country will suffice to complete the goal. In the case of sowing, the margin is so minimal that it sometimes seems like you have to sow 110% and that will not work. In fact, i canceled these jobs on a regular basis because it did not work. Then there are also some that are hilly, and then the seed drill runs stupidly, making the country as a whole as good as impossible. Curiously, the land is spraying with insecticide or water then done again with only 40% coverage on the field.

This shows that not everything has been thoroughly tested, and although it does not make progress immediately, it's pretty annoying if you've been out of business for a quarter of a moment, because you can not finish it. Then there is also the annoying 'problem' of tractors who drive extremely slowly backwards or forwards. It's possible that you hit a hill on an acre with a tilt percentage of no more than 0.5% and if you do not save it with a 500PK machine without collapsing the material, something will not work properly. Also, many tractors are slowly slowing down that it is unrealistic.

All of this is a lot of sloppiness and it's so foolish. With some more tests, these kinds of issues were eliminated from the game. It definitely affects the play fun, but one advantage is that it can all be solved with one simple update. Nevertheless, this should have already been understood in advance, because useful is different. Another point is that the game knows quite a lot of pop-up and that's a rarity in 2017. Ultimately, it's a pity that the game has some critical points, because the gameplay itself is really entertaining enough for the long term.

Conclusion

Real Farm is certainly not without flaws and at some points very messy. Also, some things simply can not be done due to lack of information or incorrect balance. That's a pity, because at the core the gameplay is fun and varied. You will be able to entertain yourself well with the diversity of assignments and the development of gameplay over time is also very enjoyable, though you have to be able to withstand an elderly grace in career mode. Apart from the points of criticism, which you should definitely take into account when considering a purchase, you will be able to entertain you well with the game, even in the longer term. Certainly in view of the promised support from the developer to optimize the game to the needs of the community, provided that promise is met.

➕ A lot to do
➕ Relaxed soundtrack
➕ Gameplay that is becoming more and more extensive
➕ Career mode entertaining...

➖ ...but at a certain time, old grind
➖ Several messy mistakes
➖ Sowing some fields impossible
➖ Popup
