I am creating a scifi role playing game (RPG) that will follow the adventures of three space pirates (and other characters!) as they have to fulfill a deal. Combat plays out in a different screen, by giving command to party members. Battles are not random, meaning you can see (and often avoid) enemies on screen. Without further ado, I present you with the most recent screenshots of this project. A playable beta may be ready still in a couple months.
Aboard a space station found half-way through the game. Will work as some sort of central hub.
It is meant to be populated by a variety of NPCs (non playable characters), which will be added soon.
Game becomes sort of open world once you reach the station; however, to advance to the end, you only need to complete one requirement: Find some incredibly advanced piece of technology, and you can go to the final stage of the game. There will be more than one way to obtain said item...
On a quest on some planet.
The game is being created with RPG Maker MV. This tool allows to export to various different platforms (Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and with some tweaking, Android). Base programming language is JavaScript combined with HTML5. I'm customizing at as much as I can.
