Also nothing new in that aspect, which is great for the experienced Football Manager player. They can start with their regular routine that they have been in for years when they enter a new club. Even though we understand that this can be overwhelming for new players.

That the experienced Football Manager 2018 players can keep their normal routine is due to the fact that Sports Interactive did not change much of the game's structure. You can determine your tactics via the familiar route, although the interface is slightly adjusted. You can just buy players as you did in Football Manager 2017 as well as other things for recurring players easy to find.

The innovations in Football Manager 2018 are mainly in the already existing aspects of the game. These have now become deeper and give you more feedback about certain things.

Renewed scouting system

Team Dynamics

A new feature worth mentioning is team dynamics. Your selection is not composed of robots, but of people with their own background and roots. This is now also incorporated into the dynamics of your team. Thus, groups appear within your selection. Players who have been at a club for years together, while French-speaking footballers also get friends and new players are still out of the boat.

As if that is not enough, Football Manager 2018 will also introduce the team hierarchy. Good experienced players are seen as team leaders and thus have a lot of influence, while new purchases have no regard in your selection.

With these things, you have to take into account when making the arrangements. If you do not construct a player with much influence structurally, the rest of your selection, and especially the player's social group, will rebel. To you to find a balance. I certainly think it's a great addition, as this gives you more players the feeling that you're working with real people.
