Zod And The Canal Of Beer (5 Minute Freewrite)
Prompt: Canal
I have to be quick, I'm going bed very soon. So quick, we’ll call it the Super canal.
There once was a canal in England. Most canals are made of water. You get your boat and have a romantic trip.
But this canal was made of beer. But because it was built in England, everyone wanted to go there and drink as much beer as they can.
Who on earth could have masterminded such a feat? A canal made of strong beer. I would say Superman, but he's got more important things to do.
“You were close. Correct planet, but it was not the son of Jor El. It was me. General Zod.”
“Why did you do it Zod?”
“Because I can. First of all, kneel before me. Second, I'm not that bad really.”
All of a sudden, the canal is frozen.
The frozen beer is being levitated off the ground. It is being taken far away. No more beer for anyone. It is Superman. He has sent it into space.
The world loves Superman, but he is not so welcome in England anymore. Let's all kneel before Zod.
Zod.
