The Baggie and the Shining Light to Make This Story A Little More Interesting

I have a really horrible nasty terrible cold. It won't let me sleep and it is bed time.

I am tired but expecting another horrible night, just like last night.

I'm not even going to try.

This gives me two options.

1. Watch Star Wars

2. Write a story

But what if I start to write a really boring story? Would that send you all to sleep? Probably not. Would it send me to sleep? Maybe.

If it doesn't work, I'll just resort to watching Star Wars.

So, here it is. A story that will not be exciting but will send me to sleep.

I decided to pack my sandwiches for the following day. It is not something I usually do, but I feel like getting as prepared as possible for tomorrow

I have some ingredients and bread and get to making myself the sandwiches

I then realise that I have made 3 lots of sandwiches by mistake. The problem is; they won't stay fresh over 3 days.

On the bright side, I can take a photo and put it on Facebook.

There are flashes of coloured lights coming through the window. Am I being invaded by aliens? Are they coming for my sandwiches? Have they come to make this story more interesting?

The doorbell rings. There are 3 men in black suits.

"We want to try out our new time machine. If you give us two of your sandwiches, we can go forward a day and then put one in the fridge for you. It will be fresh "

"Sounds nice," I replied.

"Then we will go forward another day and put another set of sandwiches in the fridge for you. It will also be fresh."

"Thank you," I said. "It'll be worth a try."

I have to ask; "Why are you doing this?*

"To make your story more interesting," replied one of the men.

They have made the story more interesting. However, I have just fallen asleep.
