Wool sweater! A weekend freewrite
Dear friends
This is the weekend freewrite challenge. I am using @mariannewest’s #weekendfreewrite, to write this piece please read. Here is the reunion of two friends Sandra and Miguel, in which a romantic atmosphere develops impossible to reach in a big city. I hope you enjoy my fiction story.
Wool sweater
One afternoon late in the day, Miguel came to visit us and sit by the reflection of the pool.
There Sandra talked animatedly about the incidents they had faced throughout that year. The Mary & Mark brand franchise business had consolidated, the pitfalls they had at the beginning were already behind.
At that time, when they were promoting the business in another country, they were taking advantage of the bucolic atmosphere of that simple hotel that now took them away from the bustle of the big city.
Miguel, former co-worker of Sandra, had always been in communication with her by email and video conference and she, for her part, was very pleased that he always considered her.
That afternoon he met her again, hugged her tightly, being reciprocated.
She jokingly told him at that moment:
"You are quick to express your feelings, and you don't care what the consequences are."
Miguel blushing felt an immense emotion since he had waited for that reunion with Sandra for several months.
Their occupations always separated them and made it difficult to be able to find themselves so that now the moment turned out to be special. Already the heat of the afternoon was giving way to a cool breeze coming from the sea, so they should try to find some shelter.
Miguel said to her:
"Well, I have in my suitcase for you,
his wool sweater
that I brought you as a gift, you'll love let me give it to you "
So, delighted with that detail, I embrace him again with joy, realizing that he was now the man for whom he would give his life.
So the afternoon passed with a romantic beginning of that night that promised the beginning of a new story. With the evening lights shaping a mutual feeling that shook the leaves of the meadow.
