Day 36: 5 Minute Freewrite - Prompt: Junk
A group of teenage boys were out sailing on the Pacific ocean around Catalina Island one day having a great time and putting their skills as yachtsmen to work in preparation for an upcoming race. Suddenly an object appeared on the horizon that looked like a small winged dragon skimming across the ocean waves. Changing course to get a closer look they soon realized that it was one of those strange looking Chinese sailing vessels, so they came in alongside of the vessel for a closer look. The crew of the other boat, seeing that they were young American boys, asked if they wanted to buy drugs. We have pure China White, they said, we will sell cheap because we need go home right away.
Upon hearing this the boys shook their heads in the negative and began to turn away from the odd looking boat and put some distance between the two crafts. Just then a Coast Guard cutter appeared and gave chase to the drug boat. The Guardsmen overtook the much smaller vessel, boarded, searched it and arrested the crew confiscating the drugs. The captive sailors were then taken ashore, processed, and thrown into a holding cell with a bunch intoxicated brawlers from a local nightclub. Later they were separated and moved into a jail cell where they became well acquainted with members of the American underworld.
The moral of this story is that you shouldn't try to peddle your junk to a boat full of punks while sailing your Junk in United States territorial waters. Because if you do the Coast Guard might just confiscate that load of junk and impound your nice sailing Junk. Then while you wait in a tank full of drunks, they will prepare you a bunk in a cell with a big psycho hunk, who then might just claim you as his own badunkadunk. Then I'm pretty sure that your junk may be sunk!
Or something like that ha ha ha.

Well done. I like the moral of the story with a built in warning of..let's see how did you put it? Oh yes, becoming someone's badunkadunk. Haha, that choice of word made me laugh.

So glad I found this post! I had no idea about the freewrites and I'm totally excited about them. Guess the topic of "junk" intrigued me!
Oh good, I hope you give it a whirl because it can be so much fun. I cheat sometimes myself because I am just naturally so slow, but I try to stick to the general spirit of a freewrite concept and write my story from start to finish without stopping. 😎

😃No, not true, it's a total fabrication lol. I cheated so that I could look up a street name for heroin, I had no idea what to call it or what would be a normal amount sold. I'm sure that something similar has probably happened at some point in the past though, so we'll say that it's based on a true story. 😏
Well it is a great story with an even better lesson! Don't buy drugs! Lol especially from people you don't know!
