What is it in it for me?
Crowdfunding is when you get lots of people to give you money to do something like bring out a CD or start a business. Instead of going to the bank and borrowing money from them.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
Often crowdfunding people will get something in return. Like the first production of the product being crowdfunded or something like that.
Like what's the benefit of contributing to helping buy somebody else's house?
Practically Speaking?
Like, do they get to come over on Saturdays and use the tennis court or something? Can you crowdfund your lunch or breakfast?
SEEKING OUT REJECTION
Reminds me of that guy who did a ted talk on asking people for favours.
Like once he went to a random person's house in basketball clothing and a ball and asked them if he could play basketball in their back yard.
Another time he went to Krispy Kreme to ask them for a bunch of donuts shaped in the Olympic symbol.
They actually did it and then even gave it to him for free. They actually did it and then even gave it to him for free. I actually just found it here it is:

Well... and this is how you guys make me watch the videos too ;-)
I love to watch videos a lot and instead of being on fb or other bs i like to learn every day and when i have the chance to share my thoughts. I did that many times and it feels good when you do that to others.
Rejection is part of our learning process. And it depends for all of us how we go over it. Many of us don't. It may be a speaking issue or just fear. In the past, few were used to talk and had small chance to be learned from other good people. Maybe because the internet wasn't there to share all over the world this kind of information or maybe of other reasons. It will always be a reason for something to quit.
But, in the same time, in all times were leaders or great people who overcome that fear.
That should be a lesson to all of us in everything we do. Even if we consider it to be a small thing instead of a big one. We can't change the world as Einstein did or other genius. But we can in our way, by not running from it.
If we can accomplish our dream small or big and we do what we dream about, then we took a big step in our life.
I think mines, the big ones were not in childhood. Were in the last 10-15 years. And they are not all gone. For the moment i'm going in a circle.
Maybe that was the thing that brought me here on steemit... maybe not. Who knows. I will see it soon, right?
I'm approaching my 100 days, hehe ;-)

You're welcome my friend 👍 sometimes we have problems of pride and we don't realise that the easiest way of obtaining something is just asking for it!
